    Default Elite Cadre Episode 17

In a fit of pique Elite Cadre have decided to actually do some work and get a new show out there for your listening enjoyment. This episode is one that's a bit more tournament focussed and we discuss our experiences at the Welsh Open before putting them out of their misery, the subtle art of list submission, and also the use of terrain in a tournament environment?.all especially topical with just one week to go to the UK Masters! Spelling it out also makes a return (shocking, I know) with a quick peek at eSkarre's Great Rack??of horns??on her head. Also, don't worry if you missed our competition in association with Terrain Geek the first time because details can be found in this episode, yes, you too could find a fine piece of Terrain Geek terrain (from http://www.terraingeek.com ) gracing your tabletop!

Really interesting listen, too interesting, almost ran through a red during my morning jog. Can't wait to hear and read about the UK masters results.

Well we're looking at getting on one or two of the people organising the event to give it a post-mortem as it were. Glad you enjoyed the show!

Presume you mean the Club Challenge the WPS host? No, there will be no coverage. Unfortunately we're not going and I think that event is probably going to be well covered by Alpha Strike Radio...though I may consider going there myself next year.

    Thanks for that Mike,

I am planing on doing some coverage the Club Challenge. If everything works out to plan we're going to record the coverage over the course of the weekend. That's the plan anyway!

Well you certainly spoke during the episode Kurt, although I am led to believe that means very little with being asleep or awake as far as you're concerned.

And no problem, Rich, happy to help...even after Flat Cap and Whippet Radio called us the podcast equivalent of "Loose Women"

Harsh but fair I feel, I mean it's not like you mentioned the Raider Captain in conjunction with eSkarre

You're not worn there, he can't remember the name of anything. Although he was right about that playing for toffee thing after the Welsh Open this year

See, that's the problem, the Welsh Open had no toffee in the prize pool and therefore there was no motivation to win!

Clearly an oversight on the part of the organisers I feel.

Anyway shouldn't you be organising some events rather than teasing me over my co-hosts inability to remember stuff about the game?

    As Pickles said,

Organise it and they will come.

Three venues contacted, working stuff out. Talking to Tim "The Legend" Martin tonight and Webby/Norbert at the weekend. First time I've done this organising lark since my TCG days....

Great stuff, I hope to bump into some of you there at the cc. I'll be the guy in the lost boys shirt that says Rodney on it, even though i'm called David.

Being called Rodney makes perfect sense though

Will have a chat at the weekend I am sure.

    Mike,

    That's good news, can't wait : )

It does indeed. One of the guys at club called it me and it stuck, so I got it on my shirt. Hoping for some good games this weekend.

Makes even more sense if you watch Only Fools and Horses.
