I can't seem to find the answer to this one using the searchy.
If the EBDT rips the an arm off of a jack (fills all the damage boxes for that arm), he can't use that weapon's POW for his next attack because it is disabled, right?

No, it's not of concern if the weapon is disabled or locked. As long as it is a melee weapon and within melee range of the earthborn, he is able to adapt it.
Pyre Troll: ...effortless annoyance with continuous fire
He can use the pow. Disabled arms only reduce the dice rolled not the pow of the weapon. Same goes for beasts with the body gone. You still can use the pow of any weapon they have.
And that is why I am looking forward to Earthborn v Conquest. It is P+S 22. I'm guessing only, but I think they will give the Conquest about 15 STR. Meaning 7 POW.
"I have POW 7 on my open fist."
"Yoink! Me too!"
"For the motherland?"
"For Dhunia."
"Oh."
Earthborn then uses 5 fury to explain why Khador should stay out of the Thornwood.
Must be talking about the Mountain King, right?
If MK's high STR, then Doomie2 STR-based attack spell will be better than at Mulg-STR.
If MK's high POW, well, I guess it won't really matter, the EBDTs charging in and around him won't have anything to use his POW on anyways...
Yes, I believe the following 3 posits were removed from his post because he did not want to burden us with the syllogistic set up.
1) If Khador has a P+S 22 weapon and Cryx has a P+S 18 weapon that self buffs to 21 if he can kill a few winterguard, then we should be able to assume that the P+S of the mountain king will be somewhere between those.
2) Trolls tend to have the same STR as Khador, so it would be fair to guess that mountain king will also have a High STR.
3) For the a minimum P+S of 18 and using the POW of Blitzer and Bomber fists as an example, the King will have to have a STR of 15. The fact that we expect a higher total P+S therefore makes sense to be a higher POW.
Either way, if you know that the EBDT can be put on Colossal Duty, we can spend our time learning to defeat new casters instead of looking for ways around the huge basers.
I expect that as soon as someone puts a huge base within 10.5 inches of an Earthborne, they will regret putting 19 points into something so "fragile."
It's not just the Earthborn that the Conquest has to worry about. Assuming armor 20, a unit of Bloodfuried Burrowers bring ti down to 2 boxes given perfect placement of damage and no overlap between sides. We will see how resilient these things are...
Well the ARM is spoiled in the Bat Rep in NQ 42 so you get your hope of 20 there. The grids from the video are spoiled at 62 boxes.
Perfect placement with no overlap? You mean getting all ten on the base, right? NQ also says that if you fill one grid, the damage carries over to the other, so I'm not sure what the "perfect placement" means.
I wouldn't rely on the eMaddy Burrower takedown everytime. That's a lot harder and more circumstantial than getting one EBDT on it with any warlock. Add a buff to that if you'd like but EV of 40 damage average without any buffs, adding a Wild Aggression, Rage, Stone Strength, and/or Blood Fury just seals the deal.
Wild Agression, Rage and Stone strength together against a target with a pow 7 weapon and 20 arm gives an EV of 73.5* and needing triple 1's to miss (which happened in the BatRep in NQ 42, so it's not impossible).
*12+3+1+7-20=3, 6 attacks without and 1 with boosted boosted damage, (3+7)*6+(10.5+3)=73.5
IO hadn't seen if the damage overlapped or not, which is what I was referring to. I was simply pointing out that 6pts with minimal support can take down nearly 20pts worth of stuff on average rolls. But you'd be damn sure I'd throw 6 pts away to remove a piece like that rather then 10 if I could help it. I won't rely on it, but it's a lot harder to stop then one fully supported beast. You can't take a unit of burrowers out with 1 black oil or other debuff. So even if they take 4 of the 10 out with an AOE or something point for point under bloodfury digmies are more potent then the EB.
Unless, of course, it's like Behemoth. Oh, crap, POW 0 -- forgot about that.
Huh. Six months away from Cygnar and I've forgotten how to win... until Kara Sloan goes all 'bullet to the head' several games in a row. It's good to be back.
I am a noob to the forums, and a trollbloods player obviously, but I have a small question on adaption can you use it on more than one attack in a activation. or is it one and done, thanks for your answer or replies.

Yes, it is used for every attack the earthborn makes using its fists.
Useful tip, you can use the POW of ANY weapon in the earthborns melee range (including friendly model/units)
Thanks me and my friend read the rules on it, and the wording of it was iffy, so I just went on and played his way, but it didn't really change the game any I still won, I appreciate the help and thanks again.
Actually you cannot. If you read the ebdt card, it says u chng pow when u hit a model. Simply being in melee will not do. So no caber shenanigans
Actually you can, the pow only changes for the melee hit, But the rule reads
"When this model hits with a Normal melee attack with this weapon, it can replace the base POW of the weapon with the base POW of a melee weapon on a model in its melee range."
The last bit says ANY weapon in melee range.
Me? Addicted to wargames? Never! I just like them... and I must buy figures... er... not addicted just slighty reliant on them
My PG Blog - Whats going on in Bradford
The key is that it has to be a melee weapon -- not a mount, for example -- and it has to be in the EBDT's range.
Occasionally people make the mistake of looking as the Caber's melee range. Nope... has to be within .5 inches of the Dire and in the Dire's LOS.
On a side note, I'm still sulking that the Colossals seem to have a high STR and low POW because it does mean you have to do this kind of extra maneuvering to call it one and done...
This plan doesn't work as it relies on a Khador player running Uhlans, which as everybody knows just doesn't happen. The one you need to dream about is a Skorne player with a Kovaas next to their Gargantuan, The Kovaas isn't a mount and is naturally POW 14 on its weapon, with rage it gives you 7 PS+29 punches in a turn.
I still just dream of the Kovaas standing next to a KD Zaal who has 7 Fury. Sure, he can technically transfer off all 7 attacks, but I want to see him try.
Tyrant Commander: What the !@#$%#@ was that?
Standard Bearer: That was an exploding Mammoth.
Commander: I didn't know they did that without help from Mordikaar.
Standard: It was 40 feet from Zaal when the Earthborne hit him. Um... you might want to hold your breath... that Bronzeback is about to go areosol.
