Default eLylyth 50p list SR help

    So....a tournament coming, and i´ve come up with two lists for eLyly;

    Lylyth
    - Ravagore x2
    - Bolt thrower x2
    - Angelius

    2xshepherd
    Deathstalker OR Forsaken
    Striders+UA
    Swamp Gobbers

This list has more of a balanced/scenario approach with the angelius to repulse or take on heavier targets.

    Lylyth
    - Ravagore x2
    - Bolt thrower x2

    2xshepherd
    Striders+UA
    Max raptors OR min raptors+Annyssa

This has more shoot´n´run styles. No armor cracking though.

What do you think, which one would you prefer?

I'd prefer the first one, but the Angelius really isn't enough melee. On either of these lists, if you don't win on the feat turn, you're screwed. And believe me, if you think that the Angelius can handle heavies, you're probably wrong. He can rip a Seether or a Nomad to shreds, but sending him against a Khador heavy is quite close to suicide. I'd take a max squad of Legionnaires, and see if I could proxy Farilor, because they can hold the line long enough that you can shoot anything that goes for them. Maybe Incubi as well.

Its a 2-list format, so it just needs to counter the heavy armour i choose to fight against So ill build the other list to combat many heavy armoured targets.

Well, that's more like it, although if you're up against a Khador player and you don't know if he's playing his Karchev Powerslide list or his WGDS list you're still in trouble...

    I played this list yesturday:

    eLylyth
    3x Ravagores
    teraph
    Striders UA
    Striders UA
    2x Deathstalkers

Teir 4. First turn feat killed Calandra, and then whiffed on Vindictus, mostly because I shot him and not the zealots next to him to splash him with fiery love.
I would run your second list. you wanna be able to go for the assassination and make sure you can bring a lot to bear on their caster.

    the list I use is
    Lylth
    1 ravagore
    2 bolt thowers
    angelius
    Annyssa ryvaal
    Full raptors
    2 shepeherds
    1 forsaken
    2 deathstalkers
    bone grinders

bone grinders will become the caster attachment when it comes out
I don't like overloading on ravagore because you give yourself more bad matchups vs fire immune things.

    At 50 i always run:

    eLylith
    3x Ravagores
    Seraph
    Shredder

    Striders+ UA

    Deathstalker
    Forsakenx2

has served me well, but its a pure caster assassination list, if it comes to attrition and you destroying the entire army, it lacks some. But the seraph and striders are there to clear infantry and give lanes to the ravagores on feat turn, has done pretty well for me cause I don't care much for relying on crits to clear lanes. That's just me though.
