    Default Trying my hand at Fiona - 50pt

    See if i got her right:

    Fiona's feat and Anastasia gives me at least two turns of Espionage (or at least a lot of effort to avoid that)
    Hawk or Ragman with Arc Node on
    Sniping Mariner/Buccaneer (the idea here is to keep Nonokrion Bran on both of them, switching from one to another every turn)
    Sylys helps keeping Focus in line.

    I love Fiona. Aside from Farrow, she's my go-to caster for fun.

    I used the Gun Mages with Mariner before and it did nicely. I wonder, though, if Dougal might be better suited than Anastasia, to help with Sniping. Helped me out. Made Sloan cry in a couple games.

    I don't see, what the Ragman would do in this list. He is rather slow and relies on models with Reach to deal out his debuffs. I think Dougal McNaile would be the better choice for buffing solo. If you are worried about high ARM, maybe better drop Ragman and either Anastasija or the Blaster and get Ayanna&Holt. Or Dougal and Gorman.

    Every solo is AD, so ragman isn't exactly limping behind.
    Dougal would benefit whom? Just the Mariner? I'm lost.

    During Fionas feat, anastasia is almost unhittable, considering she already advanced and used espionage once, you can effectively double the punishment your seadogs are dealing, ayannaand holt are good, but i dunno how t....o fit them

    Well, for me, I'm just going with experience. Dougal's ability to give a RAT bonus plus reroll deviations is nice. Then the mini-feat to really reach out and touch a 'caster, or what have you. Hm. Then again, I did field a Mule with her as well as the marshall'ed Mariner.

    I never used Anastasia, but I do have her model. I should give her a try.

    I don't love the Freebooter. Why him? Why not a Mariner to hang with Fiona?

    I don't love the Buccaneer. What's he doing? Why to the squishy Gun Mages have two marshalled jacks?

    The range is not a problem, so he's mini-feat isn't super-awesome. Rhupert on the other hand might be something to consider, in the end i struggle more with ARM than with Terrain, maybe that's why i'm more inclined to bring Ragman and/or Ayanna

    If its not a Freebooter, its a Nomad, mostly because i need a 6pointer, lean and mean.
    I chose the Freebooter because of Double-Hand Throws, against knocked down models both jacks deliver the hurt equally. Alongside Basher, i have the tools to move two heavy jacks away (normally the ones protecting the caster) and then dive in with Sea Dogs.

    I keep the Mariner and the Buccaneer B2B, and then put the Officer behind them and voilá, instant stealth mode.
    The Bucc is here to get Snipe and knockdown models, he's got boosted attack rolls and 18" range
