Couple of 35 point lists for upcoming event

So I'm putting together 2 35 point lists for an event on Monday. Thought I'd see what people thought.

Decided to go melee heavy and ranged heavy as my two options, as the meta favors more Warmachine players than Hordes.

Now before you ask, I don't currently own Rowdy nor do I have the cash to purchase him, so that's why I went with the Jacks I did. Thought the lancer might be useful for arcing rebuke onto some stuff.

Both should be fairly strong against either hordes or Warmachine. The Kara list specifically has a lot of anti-stealth options going on, and will probably be my go to list against the few Legion and Circle players in our meta. It's also pretty solid for dealing with slower lists. The Stryker list is more well rounded and oriented towards crushing the enemy army until they don't have anything left to block stryker's charge. Arcane shield on Stryker from jr and camped focus every turn means that stryker can stay pretty far up field against most lists and threaten a lot of the board.

You'll want Reinholdt with Kara, and I prefer boomhowlers to precursors knight with her. You could swap the precursors and eiryss for boomhowlers with jonas and reinholdt with a stormsmith.

You have way too much invested in support for eStryker. Drop anastasia maybe in favor of upgrading the ironclad to Ol' Rowdy.

Do you have a stormclad? I don't have faith in a lone ironclad. I also don't take a lancer with eStryker at 35 points any more, he never seems to earn his points.

Kara doesn't really have any thing that needs AS I would look to replace him(JR). IMO Arlan is a lot better than the squire with Kara. What are the character restrictions? Can use eEryiss in one list and pEryiss in the other. Do you have any other options for a tarpit than the Precursors?

I can use e and p eiryss. My only melee infantry for cygnar are precursors and a min unit of stormguard. I also don't own a stormclad, though that's next on my list. My jacks right now are one magnatized heavy kit, one ironclad, 1 centurion, another centurion that is currently being converted into an avenger.

Can you use Rhupert in both lists? If not max the precursors, drop the squire and Harlan, sadly that leaves you with one point maybe drop another 2 pointer for eryiss? do you own a stormsmith? If you can use Rhupert you could try getting away with min PKs+UA with tough in which case I would just drop the squire or Harlan.

I would put the Centurion in the Stryker list, drop one of the solos for the points. Should be fun prevent one unit from charging and have the cent unable to be charged. Strykers bond will help the odds for a critical, Mat 6 isn't that bad but vs Def 12 the extra die is another 23% higher chance to hit 28% higher chance of it being critical http://www.dakkadakka.com/wiki/en/Cr...Effect%20Table. Also reach models are better for eStryker's feat (5" vs 3.5"). The previous, the extra ARM, and extra P+S I think its an easy choice.
