    Boneswarm 4
    blackhide warstler 9
    Swamp horror 8
gatormen possie (leader and 4 grunts) 9

Generally Maelok likes at least 2 posses. Revive is a very powerful spell when youre bringing back something as potent as a posse member.

Also spiny growth from the snapper is alot more useful then just about anything the boneswarm can do. Also if push comes to shove you can put the wrastler in front of the army, put spiny growth and death pact on it, then defensive feat. Instant arm 25 devi-gator.

I have tried a very similar list. With one posse you lose alot of attrition force. In general its come down to reach incorporal wrastler assasination winning or losing me the game.

Although double posse is nice, it's not really needed with Maelok at 35 points. At the next level, 50 points, it's surely a default choice. With one Posse you can make the Posse so rock solid, it's almost impossible to crack. I had big success with this list:

    Maelok
    *Ironback Spitter
    *Bone Swarm
    *Bull Snapper
    5 Gatormen Posse
    Croak Hunter
    Totem Hunter
    Wrong Eye
    *Snapjaw
    *Bull Snapper

You can dish out 7 Spiny Growths if you want (although 4 -5 is normal). Add Death Pact and the feat and you have a hard list to crack. With a full Posse you have enough models to keep at least one of them alive for the revives.

I swing in the opposite direction and run 3 full posses at 35p with good success. This is what I've been rocking so far:

    Maelok
    ^Snapper
    ^Snapper
    ^Bone Swarm
    Posse max
    Posse max
    Posse max
    Thrullg
    Swamp Gobbers

I'm going to try to switch out the Bone Swarm and the Gobbers for another Thrullg and a Croak or Pendrake. Fury balance works in theory at least but I need to playtest. In my experience running only one Posse is too risky.
