    Default Chilly Feral Warpwolf WIP

Decided to slant my circle towards a winter theme rather than the standard brown and greens. I need to change the color scheme inside his metal hand and foot guards to something less like his skin, its slightly darker but not enough to make a difference I think. C&C welcome.

I really like how the eyes turned out (they have a very cold, hard stare thing going on), and the fur -- but I'm not so keen on the skin. I think that the blue looks too unnatural. Maybe keep that blue color inside the metal, and go for something more like a greyblue (like you'd see on a blue great dane) for the skin?

    Something more like this?

I think the blue looks a little bit too much like Trollkin blue. I would have gone with maybe the Frostbite color (P3) as the base, or something similar. I do like the concept though quite a bit.

I appreciate that the blue is a bit intense for a nature based thing but it reminds me of a Ogre Magi from 1st edition D&D. I know that has nothing to do with a feral warpwolf but there ya go. I did decide to dirty him up a little with a dark wash to add some depth or definition and changed his metal inlays to a purple.

I do however think that great dane color would work very well if only my skill level matched my minds eye.
