I know I need LOS to cast it on my beast, but do I need LOS from my beast to the enemy model being hit?

1. You don't need LOS to the beast. The spells tells you to choose not to target, so no LOS is needed.
2. The enemy model is targeted, which means you need line of sight to it. Since the beasts is the point of origin, you use it's LOS.
