Is it wrong to wish?

I have been looking at my lists and I am miss my cryx blood witches ua. not cryx just her. And it got me wishing for a thamarite unit with the take down ability. Grevious wounds would be better, but take down, would suffice. With all the tough models out in play at the moment, I am finding the grind against models with a 4+ 5+ invunerabilty saves i mean tough rolls, becoming tiresome.

To use in a Devil to Pay tier list is my guess since Grogspar isn't part of it.

You could take some Freebooters and put the pressgangers in B2B.

Then next turn throw the press gangers at the enemy caster, pass tough, forfeit movement and murder their knocked down caster with Gang.

These tactics basically write themselves!


edit: I actually just thought of a possibly legitimate throwing abuse but need to check the rulebook first before I make a fool of myself.

(for the mortally curious I was wondering if Roth's Mercy would trigger on non-enemy attack damage (spoilers: it doesn't) so you could throw your own grunts at the enemy warcaster, remove other grunts and have the former grunts attack because they would be alive)
