    Default New to Skorne and looking at "Titan Spam"

    I love elephants. It was the titans that drew me to skorne and away from circle.
    After acquiring the tokens, the battle box, a unit of Pgbh, and several of the amazing new plastic kits I've realized i hit a wall. Besides nihilators there's not alot of infantry I'm fond of, and fielding four titans and a bronzeback is leaning toward unbound points...

    I think a list Fielding three titans and a block of nihilators sounds like my best bet at the moment, so here's where i need help:

    Where should i be looking to start to build something like this? I haven't really gotten my feet wet with Skorne yet, so any kind of direction or detailed play by play would really educate me.
    Thanks

    2 Warlocks are good at Titan spam - in my opinion;

    1: Fat Bastard, AKA Dominar Rasheth. He is the one supplying the Skorne offensive with Titans, and in his Tier list you get them at -1 point cost! This means that you can easily bring 4 Titans in one list, even 5 if you don't use a lot of infantry (this is at 50 pts). Also, Nihilators are allowed in his tier.

    2: Naaresh. His feat makes Titans hit harder and last longer, he can increase their def if you feel like putting a def 15 arm 24 Sentry/Tiberion in your opponents path. Also, he is a Nihilator so they fit with him.

    You already have beast handlers, so that is fine. Besides that I would get one of those 2 warlocks, and maybe another unit. How about enslaved alligators/Gatormen? They are also allowed in Rashets tier, and are QUITE good with him!

    Morghoul 1 is fantastic with them. Xerxis also.

    What the Skorne are is a relentless army that does not give up even in death because it so completely embodies the iron (and necromantic) will of its generals. It is the black beast with iron teeth rising from the sands to level civilization.

    I assume you are getting the defense up to 15 with Iron Flesh here ... I found out the other week that you can't Iron Flesh a warbeast (warrior model / unit only). Had to restart the game because of how unfair it was to have Molik Karn on a hill with Iron Flesh. You are correct about Naaresh running Titans very well, just can't IF them.

    You've already got our best beast caster, pMorghoul. He can run extremely well with nothing but paingivers and beasts.

    Most of our warlocks can run at least 3 Titans well at the 35pt level.

    I'd actually say that only Mordikaar and eMorghoul shouldn't. Mordikaar will want at least 2 infantry units, and eMorghoul wants some very specific support (Molik or an Archidon and a Cyclops Brute) which can make it tough to squeeze 3 Titans in.

    A step up from there, I'd put pMakeda and Zaal. You can run 3 Titans, but it sort of feels like you're sacrificing the full effect of their feats.

    I'd say the rest of our warlocks have no trouble. Most of them want one full unit, but don't need more.
    I'm contributing to a Warmachine/Hordes blog. Here it is: 4+ Tough. I'm posting as pGrexy.
