I have really wanted to put this guy on the table, but I wanted to do something a little different with the model. Hopefully this can be an adequate center piece for my elves.

Wow... That actually looks pretty cool!
..............well..........it looks like not all of the Iosan gods are dead.......
Thanks, I still want to figure out how to base it. I am wanting it to appear to be hovering, just not sure on the best way to do it. I will make sure to update with more picture as it progresses.![]()
Oh please do this is amazing! Great job!
wow cool model thats really out their i like it allot cheers
I added the claws from the Sphinx they're in the front and back, but other than that it is just rearranging the "legs" of the model itself.
First off, I appreciate the use of the word "stubby". Secondly thats kind of what I was thinking I need to look around and see it there is some kind of tutorial on making dust clouds, maybe to do around the rods. I think thats what I would ideally want to do. And as far as the color scheme it was something that had a little pop yet would still be easy enough to actually paint all of my stuff for once.

It reminds me of the Tachikomas from Ghost in the Shell....
My Cleansers have killed: 2 Combine members, Finn, pNemo, Sentinel, Lord of the Feast, eMadrak, Mordikaar, pKreuger, Molik Karn, Calaban
Lord Carver has successfully raided: Xerxis, Shae, Nemo

Update: Primed and some work on the base, including the flight rods.

Probably my last update on the old AFG. Just need to finish up the base but otherwise I think its done.
Again, thanks to everyone, and I hope you all like it.
Very nice result. I like the Sphinx claw as a hood ornament.

My other bond is on a ROVER.
I haven't done this personally but I have seen the end results for smoke. Take a Q-tip and pull it from the end to unravel it. you can then start adding super glue to this until it firms up. after a few application it should be hard enough to paint the color you want. You can probably apply some super glue to the clear rods and start to wrap the cotton around that. Experiment a little before you do this to your conversion as I would hate for you to mess it up at this stage.
Love the color scheme you have going there by the way.
