    Default A second building

I wasn't 100% satisfied with my shack from last month so I decided I needed a better building. I experimented a little with doing brickwork and I was so happy with the result I kept going and made this:

I wanted this to represent a small workshop or storage place. The door on the front is just large enough to fit an unarmoured labourjack. It is fairly small being just over 10cm long and wide. It has a decent effect on the abttlefield but doesn't impose too much.

I really like this piece! It's a very good representation of what I expect to find in the seedier, or outlying, portions of many of the Iron Kingdoms cities. Keep it up!

Great looking building. I think you captured the flavor perfectly.

    That looks great!

Re: "I experimented a little with doing brickwork" -- Tell us more about this experimentation! Did you scratch grooves in insulation foam?

Really nice touchs, the brick with metal corners, the sliding door like on barns/storehouses.

The massive improvement from 1st to 2nd building bodes well for the 3rd buildings.

    Please post those.

    Great job.

Thanks for the comments guys. I deliberately didn't do a tutorial with this as doing a write up for my blog can take too long. I was just in the mod to sit and build without interuption and that is what I did. No stopping for photographs. However I did gain some inspiration from this site. Towards the bottom of the page the guy explains how he does the brick work. It isn't too complicated and I guess can be applied to the pink and blue insulation foam that is in vogue here. I still have a half constructed watchtower that needs to be finished soon. I can't decide if I should do that or start on my railroad pieces!
