If you are unfamiliar, here?s how the format works and the breakdown of your list. You are allowed to bring:
1 Warcaster/Warlock
1 Heavy Warjack/Warbeast
1 Light Warjack/Warbeast
1 Unit + UA + WA
1 Solo
You are allowed to bring up to two [2] lists to the tournament. They must be of the same faction, and be two [2] different warcasters/warlocks and follow the format described below. Prime and Epic versions of Stryker are both the same warcaster, so that won't work.
~If, for example, your warcaster or warlock has the Companion rule (i.e. Goreshade the Bastard and Deathwalker, Mortinebra and Darilyss, eKaya and Laris, Supreme Aptimus Zaal and Kovaas, etc.), they count as the 1 caster/lock. But due to an unfair advantage, Lesser Warlocks (Wrong Eye, Brun, Rorsh, Dahlia) who have their character warbeasts (Snapjaw, Lug, Brine, and Skarath) are NOT considered 1 solo. Unless you count their beast as your 1 allowed Heavy Beast, it?s probably better to not include them in your list.~
~Battle Engines will NOT be allowed....sorry, folks~
~In the case of Khador and their lack of lights, you are allowed to have a Bezerker, Destroyer or Juggernaut as your "light" warjack~
All other released models are legal for use and Tier Benefits are allowed!!
You are required to have two (2) LEGIBLY WITTEN lists, with point costs and tier bonuses written down. You must show me your lists before the tournament and before each round to your opponents.
Proxies WILL NOT be allowed without express permission of me. You MUST get my approval BEFORE the tournament starts for ANY and ALL proxies/conversions. Any and all conversions will be subject to my approval. You must provide the stock, unaltered model as a backup. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you do not get my permission, bad things will happen. Unpainted models are allowed, but a fully painted army is more fun to look at and play against. (I should take that to heart)
All players are responsible for bringing their own models, cards, tokens and/or counters, dice, dry erase pens, tape measures, and anything else required to play. All items will not be provided (unless arranged beforehand).
-PLEASE BRING A MINUTE TIMER OR SOME FORM OF STOP WATCH/TIMER SINCE THERE WILL BE TIMED TURNS-
This goes without saying... !!NO CHEATING!! This is meant to be a fun game, cheaters will be made to watch Bob trim his toenails...that is a fate I don't wish upon my worst enemy; the idea chills me to the bone. Play it safe; don't cheat....
Winners will be determined by rounds won, ties will use VPs destroyed. Winners will take the spoils.
Terrain will be provided, but if you have anything you want to add to the table, bring it on out! If you do want to bring terrain, please notify me beforehand and show up EARLY so as not to arrive at 12:40 with a mountain and be mad I don't want to use it. Also, don't bring a mountain....bring a building or those GF9 terrain pieces if you want. I can't use a mountain.
I want a good, clean, FUN tournament. No "playing" your opponent's armies. If you cannot be a good sportsman, I do not want you to come to the tournament. Lack of sportsmanship will result in loss of round and/or disqualification for repeated offense. I want EVERYONE to have a good time, new player, old player, your mama. Please respect EVERYONE at the tournament. Thank you.
If you are not one of the invited players and want to come, you MUST RSVP or stop by the store to buy your ticket! You can do it here or on the store's Meetup Site (to be linked here within the day), I want to know how many sodas to bring. As I said, there will be limited spots for non-invited players available, so if you want to come, RSVP (buy your ticket early) and SHOW UP! If you're going to be late, you may lose your spot to Johnny "Didn't RSVP but showed up on time" Smith.
Hope to see you all there!!
