Team Play Synergies (with an unlikely ally)cal

My FLGS is going to be having a 50pt doubles tournament next month. A local Cryx player and myself have struck an unholy alliance. We each have 25pts to put onto the table, and I come to you kind people to ask for suggestions as to how he and I might further compound our sins. We'll have access to a pair of 25 pt lists a piece, and can mix and match lists as needed. We've already bandied about such fun as the results of Parasite & Pdenny's feat in combination with a charging MHA. I am certain, however, that I not knowing much of Cryx and it being his second faction, we have surely not exhuasted the repretoir of dirty tricks with that single (admittedly almost disgusting) combination. What do players more knowledgable than we suggest? I'm eager to hear your machinations.

I did a team game as Kaelyssa with a pDenny. It was sick. He threw debuffs around and let me do all the dirty work. The enemy casters had no place to hide. He arced spells as needed with nodes and I shot anything and everything I wanted with Discordia and Kaelyssa's own gun.

My general strategy with team games is to have one caster in the back throwing around spells and debuffs while the other goes super solo and kills everything. Cryx has some of the best backline casters available, and pDenny is up there with the best of them. I would have you pick someone who can really hit hard. Vyros can work, but I prefer other casters. Imagine Ossyan's feat on targets with Parasite and other debuffs to make sure you hit and do even more damage.

For something silly, you can also double down on Telekinesis with Rahn and Scaverous. Even if they have defense against magic, you can easily move your entire army as needed with TK and position everything just so.

One of the biggest things to note on casters you are considering is the wording on spells, particularly if it says Friendly FACTION models or just Friendly. pDenny, for example, can give Ghostly to a Friendly unit/model, so she can actually throw it on your Sentinels.

Ghostly Sentinels. Just let that sink in a bit.

Yup, that little combo provoked my initial "I'll be in my Bunk" response. What I'm left wondering is how to best make use of the team up in general. The MHAs are a 4 point plugin to most of my lists anyway, what should I be running them in conjunction with? Ossy, couple units of Stormfalls and the Sentinel brick?

Well, running off the Denny idea, your mediocre stat units become significantly better.
Denny with Withering and/or Crippling Grasp will make:
Stormfall Brutal Shots RAT 7, POW 14
MHSF become POW 12/14 and RAT 8/10
Manticore with 3 RAT 7/9 POW 14/16 shots or a RAT 7/9 POW 17/19 Hydra?

Vyros or Kaelyssa seem like they'd tie our jacks in well (with Bird's Eye/Phantom Hunter) and our infantry generally runs itself well and both of these have decent spells for them (Banishing Ward, Inviolable Resolve)
Garryth would be awesome with Bane Knights - Mirage and Ghostly and Vengeance, yum.

I play both Cryx and Retribution, I have been theorizing about combos as well for fun. PDenny is really the best option there is.

Pdenny is a very good teamplayer as her feat improves the other factions as well, while mosts feats are faction-only.
Ravyn and Ossyan are nice options with the MHSF and Denny.

Another sweet option is to flexibalize the movement of Mortenebra further with HS Magisers Whip Snaps
