time to get caught up on these battle reports. Here's a game I got just after my previous one (game XCII).

---------the list-----------
I'm still experimenting with Ghetorix and want to try him with the old Kaya 'yo-yo' trick. The list is simple: the Warpwolf Quartet with a Wilder to manage Fury. My warpwolves should have enough diversity to kill infantry and wreck hard targets with equal measure

--------opponent's list----------
My opponent was still in the mood to play Farrow after the last game and did a few model swaps. The above list is what he came up with.

--------breakdown-------------

Kaya - deployed behind my beast line. Had put Occulation on herself, but dropped it next turn. Second turn, she manuevered back, popped her feat and used all her Fury to pull her beasts back. Largely used Fury to heal beasts. Took shots from the Razorback crew but only took damage from a few deviation rolls.
Last turn, had range to charge Carver after he shot up my Pureblood. Dumped all my Fury to buy attacks and kill him in melee (didn't get the crit KD).

Ghetorix - deployed on the far right of my line of beasts. Ran turn 1 after warping for HyperAgressive. Charged and snacked on some Brigands on turn 2. Died to Carver on turn 3 thanks to his feat turn.

Feral - deployed between the Stalker and Pureblood. Ran first turn after warping for ARM. Charged a Warhog but failed to kill. Was moved back to Kaya thanks to feat and Spirit Door. Moved up on turn 3 and killed several Brigands (warped for ARM). Took some damage from Brigands and Slaughterhousers. Died to Carver in melee.

Stalker - deployed to the lar left on my line of beasts. Ran into a forest on turn 1 after warping for Prowl. Charged (warped for STR) and killed the Warhog my Feral had damaged on turn 2 and was moved back to Kaya via feat. Moved up into a forest on turn 3 after warping for Prowl again and killed a few Slaughterhousers. Was charged and killed by a Warhog that just had range thanks to Mobility.

Pureblood - deployed to the left of Gheto and the right of the Feral. Ran up turn one. Killed several Brigands on turn 2 thanks to the spray. Was moved via Spirit Door on turn 2 thanks to feat and Spirit Door. Charged and killed the Warhog that killed the Stalker on turn 3. Charged and finished the last Warhog on turn 4. Had taken some damage from the Brigands and Slaughterhousers. Died to Carver at range

Wilder - deployed behind my beast line with Kaya. Ran after my beasts 1st turn. Died turn 2 from a lucky deviation from the Razorback crew


-----general flow of game--------

I got the Alpha strike on his army and used my feat to spam Spirit Door and put my beasts out of harms way. I got another turn of charges after that but largely just killed infantry. In response, my opponent pops his feat and kills several of my beasts. My opponent does a good job of killing my army but over exposes his caster in doing so. With Kaya in charge range and Carver with no Fury (he used the last of it killing the Pureblood), the game was mine

This game was a slaughter-fest. After I killed Carver, the only models remaining were: Kaya, a Slaughterhouser, Targ and the Razorback crew.
I didn't get a lot of experience using Ghetorix with Kaya. Might need to try this list again later

result: win (by assassination).
