    Default Sorscha (Plastic)

Finished my first caster. Sorscha is the reason I chose to play khador. I have already painted around 30+ points of my khador army but I kept delaying painting Sorscha until I felt like I could do it well enough. A few days ago I decided to bite the bullet and sit down and finally paint her. Photographing her was a real pain. The camera kept focusing on frost fang .

The blends on her cloak are very well done - what technique did you use?

Thanks guys for the comments. Sorry it has taken me so long to reply.

I shaded the cloak up from the darkest tone. I used Black mixed with a dark red (red gore). I then added a bit more red into the mix and did the next shade. Continue this until I am using the dark red straight. Then I start mixing that with a lighter red (blood red) and mixing it brighter. I then use straight blood red for some edging and extreme highlighting.
