    Default Gencon Prerelease of IKRPG 2

    I got NQ 42 and saw the tournament schedule for Gencon, but didn't see any information about the IKRPG Prerelease. PP do you know which day you will be doing the Pre-Release for the rpg. I may only be able to come for that one day and I want to get a couple copies of the RPG as well as possible miniatures to start gaming. If you know the schedule would you be able to tell us?

    Awesome that is great to hear, I will try to get money and such squared away so that I will be able to hit the first day. Also will there be an event for the rpg, maybe a session of sorts? Also will there be any painted figures of armies to buy possibly?

    I agree when is it available in print? Also I'm hoping the product isn't finalized yet and just sitting around. Releasing all of this right when everyone in HS and college is about to go back to school sucks. So many of us (I'm an old PhD student) have the entire summer to just wait... when I could be giving PP money.

    Is there a projected price-point for the books? How may are being released at GenCon? Players Guide, GMs Guide and World Guide? I just need to know how much money I need to bring to throw at PP.

    We know of 4 books:

    1) General rules and world information
    2) specifics about the Iron Kingdoms
    3) specifics about the Wilds
    4) specifics about the exotic locations - Cryx, Rhul/Ios, Skorne Empire

    I have not seen any information about a price point on any of those books.

    Book 1 (for sure) will be released at Gen Con and probably a month after that will be general release. I've heard rumors that the 2nd book will be at Gen Con as well but that is unconfirmed.

    If there is a core book or two at GenCon, i will be throwing money at them.

    I do hope they don't sell out the first day. The mad rush never appealed to me. So long as they have enough for Thursday evening or Friday morning then all is well for me and my gaming group.

    I'm going to be working the booth of another company, so I'll be able to grab a copy fairly quickly. There isn't really anything else I'm wanting to get at GenCon this year, so that works in my favor.

    As far as I know, there hasn't been a pricepoint discussed. I'm assuming in the $50 range, given that it's the core book and full color.
