I'm pretty sure shae is going to like having a galleon available to mix up his theme a bit, i don't know why you don't care about the galleon. That is a new pirate jack, seems awesome to me, PP has already thrown pirates a giant bone as far as i'm concerned. Probably get rules on the galleon on friday, so exciting.

Collosals will be for large games. My lgs does not tend to do games larger than 50 points. I am currently making a 4 X 4 terrain table in my basement to play games at home while enjoying a few brewskies

I really want an ogrun boarding party or some other medium based unit. I don't care if it's a character unit that is 3 dudes. I just want some heavy hitting power to take down heavier targets without pitting jack against jack. Merc jacks are generally minutely weaker than Faction jacks (and that's okay, No contention there). I want a Medium based unit. Weaponmasters if I can swing it. 3 man is fine, but 3-5 man is even better.

Galleon is super high on my list of crap to buy though

Incorrect - colossals are for regular sized games. This is NOT like Forgeworld or Apocalypse in 40k.

Shae doesn't seem to have much synergy with Galleon tbh. Coup is good, but colossals will tend towards the advance-while-firing I think. The rest is meh. He has the cannon and is happy with it.

Bart on the other hand wants to take galleon home and make longboats.

Fiona can put Brand on it.. meep.. hehehe.. Sweet, sweet addition to her box of dirty, dirty tricks..

...because it makes no sense for a bunch of guys scraping by and living on a ship to have the most advanced military vehicle yet designed..?

Phantasm on Galleon. Veil of mists next to Galleon. Crazy large anti ranged denial. Just walk that noise up the field slowly laying out the pain

Otherwise the big thing Galleon does for Shae is be Galleon. He's an expensive model that's really effective, meaty, and high damage. A Pirate's Life list has very little arm crushing options but Galleon brings that.

While Shae's feat can't move the Galleon. It can let you move models out from behind the Galleon and still get charges.

Oh and Commodore + Galleon. Cannonball something and drag it in. (I believe pushes work on KD targets) Or perhaps drag it in close enough to Spray.


I also don't think your getting evil enough with Fiona. You don't put Brand on the Galleon. You put it on the unit of Long Gunners you have hiding behind Galleon!

bart does more than scrape by. He has the 2nd most feared vessel on the entire sea.
