Default Tournament Winning potential Tier 4 lists

I have been putting together a circle army, and one thing I noticed looking through tournament results and sample lists, is that they have several casters who have good tournament showings with a tier 4 list.

Legion has at least one as well.

What tier 4 lists of ours performs at a high end tournament level? Or do we have one?

We are not much of a tier 4 sort of army I don't think as most forces require things we don't want to take.

eButcher Tier 4 is strong, fluffy and can take a lot but suffers bad matchups
eVlad tier 4 is not bad either. I have been experimenting with it recently but suffers from not playing to his particular strengths either)
pIrusk has a great tier list, his tier 4 is lacking though

Butcher1 also has a strong theme force; at 35 points and T4 you can get three ADing Juggernauts and cheap Shockies.

I keep wanting to run Irusk2's Heavy Armor Battalion, but the Gun Carriage mocks me in pieces.

Our biggest event in this area is an annual tier 4 tournament. It is coming up on the last Saturday of June. Thus far 25 players have pre-registered and we expect to have a full field of 30. We're going to have the Steamroller trophies as prizes. Someone is going to win a Stormwall as a door prize and a second Stormwall will be raffled off. From what I understand PP has donated some stuff as well. It's going to be a big deal.

I don't recall how many players we had in the first year but it wasn't huge. If I'm remembering correctly I don't think that Hordes even had their theme lists yet. I took 3rd in that one with Karchev. Last year the event really started to take off. We had 21 players. I went with EKaya and had a pretty dismal day going 1-3. This year it's back to Khador for me although to be honest I'm not crazy about our theme lists.

Karchev is definitely going to be my A list. He's still tough to take down especially when I don't expect to see much of Eiryss. I still pull off my fair share of assassinations with either him or his jacks. Not thrilled about two units of MOW but I think I'm going to change up my strategy a bit with them. I rarely ever use Shocktroopers but I think that I'm going to use a unit of them for holding points and back them up with Greylords. I like all of the Greylords and Kolduns in the list. In our Meta it seems that magic attacks and bypassing stealth are becoming more and more important and this list does that.

My second list is probably going to be ESorscha. It has some stuff going for it that I like such as Beast 09 and the Winterguard deathstar. I'm not at all crazy about two Kodiaks or the lack of magical attacks though.

I wouldn't mind trying out the first EIrusk theme list. My bag was packed and ready to go tonight but sadly we were a man short so I didn't get to play. I like the fact that I can take the deathstar, Kayazy and Behemoth. The bubble of tough could be good in scenario play. Again there is a lack of magical attacks and EIrusk is somewhat vulnerable to assassination. I only have one month left to prepare and only get to play one game per week so I don't think that is going to be enough time to practice with this list.

I won Deathrace at Gencon last year with Tier 4 eVlad, my only win against Nuetralyze is with Tier 4 eVlad in the 2010 5 Horsemen Event, and I've also won a decent amount of local tournaments with it as well.

At 25-35 points it is a really strong list. It can jam and will wipe out Beast/Jack heavy lists. It's only really bad match ups are massed infantry ran by a caster that can kill eVlad in the end game. Otherwise you can kill their one heavy hitter and really march around with impunity.

After having competed in the Milky Way Galactic Tournament for many years, I finally became Master of the Universe with Old Witch T4. Her theme force has everything you could possibly ever desire.

Prime Vlad and Prime Irusk have theme forces of note, in my opinion. Also Epic Sorcha.

When we get some more tiers that don't require multiple units of a type of infantry we will be on better ground.

I won a local tournament with a tier 3 eButcher list, but some of the matchups I faced led me to switch two tier 4 (taking two devastators). I don't think I've lost a game with tier 4 eButcher, I think lots of rough terrain would be the only really big challenge at 35 since it's hard to fit two 'jacks and Yuri/manhunters.

Tier 4 eButcher is sadly incredibly vulnerable to a strong gunline - he basically has no practical win condition against one. Cygnar likes ripping him in half.

Sorry to resurrect this, but what would you all say is our best T4 list?

I would say eButcher with the caveat that you're NOT playing against Retribution or Cygnar gun lines. If you do face off against them you can expect a bad day unless you pass a couple of tough rolls and get into melee with the gunlines.

Gunlines aren't too bad for eButcher's tier given most of the scenarios. Even then, I run two devastators at tier 4 and use them to deliver Butcher himself to their lines. Gunmages can't do much to ARM 25.
