    Default pMorghoul 35 Flanking List

Ok something a little different (for me, anyhow). Really fond of my Bloodrunner & Rhinodon minis, and want to play them a little more often.

    pMorghoul (+7)
    Bronzeback (10) - beatstick
Rhinodon (7) - thresher / fallguy (run him out front to take first hits if no mobs)
    Gladiator (8) - pathfinder & beatstick

Extoller Soulward (2) - handout magic weapon / hope for a shot
6 Beast Handlers (3) - cheap souls / fury amangement
    Bloodrunners (5) - handsome wide-flankers
Swamp Gobbers (1) - cloud for Morg
Totem Hunter (3) - watch for enemy flankers / join Morg on assassination run
Catapult (3) - sit in back-field & ping away, brings some low-maintenance shooting to table

Now I've got a terrible, terrible record with Morg so I'd appreciate your advice.

Should add that I don't own a Brute as yet, and I'm hoping my practice with gobbers will do the job.

You need a Brute, you just can't get away without it. Without a Brute pMorg has to fear his own beasts as they're basically huge *** bombs waiting to be thrown/slammed back at him. Once he's knocked down any model with a ranged attack can finish him. Morg plays fast and upfront, with a 10" control zone you can't afford to hang back a long way, and when he's moving faster than the gobbers they can't reliably keep a cloud inbetween Morg and his enemies.

If you bought the battlebox it's pretty easy to convert the savage into a brute, you don't need two savages anyway. I did a rough conversion with a couple Karax parts and a spare plastic lance.

Nice thinking, and a nice conversion, but I'm afraid that I painted up my Savages long ago. I haven't used them since my first few introductory games, but given the pain and anguish of putting them together I really haven't the heart to dismantle them. I nearly quit Warmahordes then & there!

I'll be happy to buy a Brute- suffered many, many losses to knockdown while using Morg and it'd be nice to counter this once & for all.
