Suggestion for PP regarding tokens

How about releasing some token packets that are "themed". Such as a packet with a bunch of the continuous effect tokens (I played my Ravagore for the first time recently and noticed there are no tokens in the legion packet) or extra fury / focus or a packet with all the weird tokens such as soul/corpse/prey.
Make them a neutral colour so they fit in with all the different faction packets.

That's why I use GF9's Warcogs. Easy to see icons from across the table, and they come with a spell lexicon card I keep in a sleeve with spells names I write so my opponent and I can easily see what spell is what.

I have a hard enough time not taking Circle token by accident when fighting with my Cryx >_>

Maybe even a supplemental packet with extra effects tokens, and status tokens for factions that need it.

What I found when I tried to have a big collection of single tokens with words on them, like a single token for "Crippling Grasp" and another single token for "Shadowbind", was that I ended up with two dozen distinct tokens that needed to be sorted and arranged before each game.

I think drawing or writing on blank tokens is actually less work, requires less space, and is probably quicker during play.

Its not the specific spell tokens Im after, while I did enjoy those back in MKI Im looking for more of the tokens we have already. Especially continuous effects but also more soul and corpse tokens and for my troll army I would love another 10 knock down tokens. Would be nice if there was another way of getting these without buying another 3-4 faction packets.

I don't know if you are already aware of them or not, but I have been using the tokens created by YoungWolf7 and updated/maintained by PG_and Riot! for years. I started with printing them out and covering them with tape to gluing them onto wooden circles bought at Michael's and then sealed with varnish. They work great and you can have as many of any token as you want.

I'd love to see some packs of just... fire tokens or the like. I know most players I know who run fire tend to run out of tokens from the base pack rather quickly and have to throw out a bunch of pennies or other random tokens if they hit units (or if they have a fire causing feat... I'm looking at you Feora and Harbinger).

Ah, I understand now. Yeah, I had a game with Venethrax last week and ended up scrounging green skulls out of my random token box to cover all the corrosion effects, so, yeah, some casters do have special token needs that aren't being met by the current bag.

I just wonder if there's enough of a market for non-faction specific mass status tokens that isn't being met by either the third party token people, or whether ten different colors of status tokens in bulk would be feasible.

I have a huge mix of tokens. For knockdowns, I actually had some custom ones made from Litko. I hunted down a bunch of the old GF9 ones as well and got a bunch of the corrosion and fire tokens. Otherwise, I use the PP ones.

"Expansion" token sets of some of the odd tokens would be a great idea. Like, no spell tokens, maybe 5 fury/focus, and extra specific effect and continuous effect ones. Basically, not a replacement for the regular sets, but a bunch of the extra stuff.

Its not like it would be a big risk for PP to take, I mean they are already making the tokens, just need a different way of packing them for expansion packets.
