Its an Orkish Lugnut. I cannot not love it!
I'm a bit confused though; I thought the initial rumors way back when said that even the Rhulic Warcasters can take it...but that doesn't seem to be the case. Can anyone confirm this?
So I was thinking about Galleon and pMagnus...
1. Free upkeeps. Tier list. Ahem.
2. Iron Aggression & 120mm reach thresher. I don't think I need to say anything else.
3. Snipe + 2d3 shots AND a harpoon gun. Knock something down with a renegade, pow pow pow!
4. Snipe + Drag to pull enemy models 14" into melee for a pounding.
"2. Iron Aggression & 120mm reach thresher. I don't think I need to say anything else."

Yup, shame your choice is Idrians or Croes....
With access to Snipe and the UA, Idrians are pretty handy. Also Kell will like the Huge marker to prowl in for a while. That said Magnus could see himself recasting Snipe on the first/second turn to try and pull off the Galleon/Idrian Snipe double.Yup, shame your choice is Idrians or Croes....Alas a slip from myside I'm afraid. I couldn't restrain myself with how good the Galleon will be. I'll thrash myself with wet noodles immediately.Umm... Cannonball???Dude?Buddy?Homey?Pal?You do realize to whom you ask that question to, yes?
Working on being able to field every merc teir 4 list.
I'll be honest I don't actually own Idrian's and so my (rather flippant) comment was going on theory-machining rather than experience. That said I don't generally like min units and 13 pts for the max unit plus UA would generally put Croes ahead of them for me, certainly against a Hordes list.
I think Galleon looks OK. It is a model that I can certainly convert to match my tastes. At least the rules add something to the faction and are pretty good. PP really pissed hard in my cheerios with the rules for the Mountain King after previewing such a fantastic model...
Can only prowl in concealment, not cover. Just sayin.
I can't wait to buy my Galleon!
Then proceed to buying three pairs of TRIARCH STALKER FRONT LEGS and a TRIARCH STALKER CHASSIS and put them instead of those terrible terrible legs.
Its gonna look badass though, i'll call it Poseidon!

I would just like to say that I just played a game with the MacBain list (swapping Gorman and Ragman for Aiyanna and Holt, and bigods am I glad I did), where the Galleon ended the game mostly intact, sitting in the wreckage of thirty points worth of Menite heavies.
Wait a minute.. they come with Wreck Markers?
I wonder if Fiona's gonna like this thing at all...

I thinking of using the colassal with fiona, big base to hide her behind, using Arcnode spell on something else, to keep her safe and throw spells out.
Me? Addicted to wargames? Never! I just like them... and I must buy figures... er... not addicted just slighty reliant on them

I kind of want to get some Cygnar Mechanik Bodgers to set on and around the guy.
I own that model and have been trying to think of something to do with it. I may just steal your idea.
Honestly, after everyone saying it looks like a ship I really don't see that. The only ship feature I see are the cannon ports. Other than that it looks more like dock-side equipment than a ship. But, it would be fun to shipify the model so that it does look like a ship!
Not sure I would dump the Ragman from a list with Galleon in it. He seems made to work with a base that big.
I think all the talk of ship-ifying the gallion is interesting. I plan on DE-ship-ifying mine.
I want to make it more Steelhead...
