Slow grow Skorne....starting @ 25

I need a few pointers....been talking to some people, i am starting with the battlebox and adding a few things:

2 Savages
Titan Gladiator
Feralgeist
4 Beast Handlers
Swordsmen (Full with UA)
Pain Giver Task Master
Gobblers



I am trying to think if Nihilators..a full unit of them

bump? I had a game with it...i drop the one of the Savages made the nihilators min unit Feralgeist and gobblers for a brute and a Rhinodon.

I personally would keep the two savages, they're pretty much guided missiles with abuse and enrage, lights pumping out PS 17 attacks are always a good thing, and the nihilators are a good choice, excellent tarpit (won me a game today just by being the way). Almost the Task Master serves no purpose, unless you REALLY want tough/PS7 swamp gobbers :P

Orin has a thing called null magic which means models within 12" can't cast spells (this includes your own, do it after you move morghoul!) plus he can chain lightning things if he needs to (I've had him kill a caster on a lucky roll!) And the Agonizer is just amazing, preventing warjacks from getting focus for a turn can swing the game in your favour immediately, plus giving -2 to damage rolls for warbeasts caught in the range can save a warbeast from being killed.

Andrew's list is solid. I'd recommend reading http://privateerpressforums.com/show...e-Buyers-Guide The Task Master has no use in your list, and the Rhinodon is a bad idea. Definitely include the Bronze Back at 35pts.

So i came up against my first real threat to my list...pgoreshade.
@ 25 points...I lost via deathclock running out.
Is Orin Midwinter the answer to that? To stop mageblight?
