With the artwork for EMorvana up we can be reasonably sure we'll be getting an epic to go along with the 3pic in Gargantuan (and a few more shinies besides according to Matt) so since no one else has started a speculative thread of speculation I figured whyy not jump on in.

Out of our five warlocks who haven't gone epic yet I think we can rule out Naaresh as being too new, and probably Rasheth for similar reasons (plus not seeming like a "go-epic" kind of guy), that just leaves Zall, Xerxis, and Mordikaar.

Morvana suffered a significant plot setback in Domination, but I'm not sure how much that helps us for prognostication; Xerxis suffered serious injury, Mordikaar got shuffled off to the deep desert somewhere, and Zaal (along with Hexi) knows we have serious bad juju headed our way. My money is on Zaal as being in the best position to figure heavily in the Gargantuan fluff.

As for the 3pic, I'm betting on 3Morghoul. I think the safe money is probably on 3Makeda, but there's a decent chance of a new character beast for the 3pic and EMorghoul needs the boost more if it isn't a Companion.

Actually, it WILL be Makeda 3. As I was playing a PPS staffer they mentioned it to me when I told this certain person I had just started Skorne.

As for our new epic, if we really do get two, my guess Xerxis. I really don't know on this one, it's just a guess.

Can't be rasheth, wasn't it mentioned that PP wasn't going to make any large base casters epics at least for now?

I thought that was for the "art piece" models like Harby and Terminus, and it was true when they came out but it's not necessarily true now (Karchev anyone?). I can't really look at Rasheth as an art piece, he's not nearly big and detailed enough.

Definitely think (and hope for) Mordikaar or Xerxis. They both featured heavily in the Domination fluff and both had profound things happen to them, which I can't really say for Zaal (if I remember correctly).

Makeda3 makes me really happy as well. Though Morg3 would've as well, they're my two favourite Skorne characters.

Maybe Xerxis will die somehow and get exalted then we can have an AG caster (not one that helps them out but an actual AG who is a caster). Although Zaal would be cool if he went epic, I wonder what his bond would be if he got one since Hexi got a toned down soul slave and it does seem to be common for bonds to give something similar to what the prime could do with a spell.

I hope its Xerxis who is riding a Rhino. I want Cataphract heavy Calvary that can complete against my friend's tuffalos. Weapon masters, speed 7, line breaker, slams, and 8 boxes please.

My second option is to see Mordikaar going epic and becoming a heavy debuff caster like P Deneghra and has an attachment to help provide more fury.

someone posted over in the legion forums that skorne were getting a warcaster unit. It looks like it's makeda3 and someone2... so who makes sense to have henchmen floating around?

info on it being a unit was in the big presentation?

Interesting point made in another thread: 3Vlad, 3Kreoss, EMorvanah, 3Lylyth, Kraye, it looks like all the factions are headed for a Cav (or cav-like) caster. I don't think any of our contenders look like they'd make a good Cav 'lock...except for Xerxis if we get a much more substantial mount.

Resheth on a Ferox I can totally see it! Probably be speed 6 though. hehe. But that is 50% more speed than Rasheth had normally!
