    Default life, Lemons and Hyperion

    it seems people where expecting more bells and whistles from the Hyperion but instead we got lemons, so lets make lemonade.

    tactics, synergy and lemonade.

    Garryth dose not bring much to the Hyperion but then again he never did. it is more like what the Hyperion can do for him and that is to clear paths for Garryth to get his assassination run going.

    Kaelyssa brings two things to the table. First phantom hunter, this will help with the Hyperions Rat 5 when dealing with cover and concealment. then there is witch hound, sure u cant move but that extra free attack is nice. sadly the Hyperion only benefits from half of her feat but can help u set up for next turn.

    Adeptis Rahn brings a few thing that can help. polarity shield can help the Hyperion from getting charged. Then there is telekinesis, the things u can do. increase the Hyperions charge range to 12" by moving the enemy closer and turning there backs to get the back strike. Moving models to better maximize the AoE 5" Pow 18 shot. plus battle mages and shyeel artifcers can also help move stuff to better get more bang for your blast.

    Ravyn brings a lot, i don't know where to begin. SNIPE! gives you 14" Rng on the main gun combine it with AFG and u go up to 16"! thats one more then Khadors Konquest, yeah. Vortex of destruction just got a lot more scarier. having the Hyperions damage rolls be auto boosted means anything in melee is going to die to PS 20 fists. plus the arcanist can bring that up to PS 22, dat damage. Also auto boosted pow 9 blast damage from the main gun will make infantry cry and crit consume will not effect casters so she will be safe from that. then of course her feat, self explanatory.

    Vyros brings a few interesting things. birds eye makes it so that the Hyperion has a 360 front arc. now deep down i feel like i am wrong but i think this means the Hyperion can make doth its melee attacks from ether side. also when it power attacks sweeps it can hit everything around it. again i feel like im wrong on this. other then that, mobility brings the charge range to 12" and inviolable resolve bring it up to Arm 21. plus Vyros him self benefits from flank since it is a warjack or counts as one.

    Ossyan has a few things to give out. Quicken gives u a 12" charge plus +2 def against rang and magic, that is def 14! throw in the artificer and you can get to def 16 against rang! ossyans gun can help with those high def models just don't kill them, yet. then there is his feat. Pow 18 plus 4 dice. sweet merciful Scyrah, better make it count that is all i'm saying.

    solos and lemons

    Arcanist, he gives +2 in melee, free focus, and repairs damage. its almost like they were made for each other, weird.

    Discordia, ok so not a solo but can give +2 Arm against rang and no blast damage. not bad. throw in Vyros and you get arm 23 vs rang.

    Shyeel artificer, +2 def against rang and no blast damage.

    Lanyssa Ryssyll, hunters mark can give u +2 on charge and u don't have to spend focus. this gives the hyperion a grand total 14" charge.

    Ayana and Holt, kiss of death. makes that blast Aoe 5" pow 11 or a pow 20 direct hit. Melee becomes PS 24.

    thats is all i have come up with so far. if any of you have something to add feel free.

    Well with Vyros2 and synergy, you have have 3, 4 point jacks if they hit first, then Hyperion is PS 23, 25 with an arcanist.

    Also the Aspis can shield guard the Hyperion. 4 points for an extra 30 hit points.

    Does TK work with Colossals? If they can't be effected by Mirage, can they be effected by other place effects?

    no. colossals can't move, be moved or placed out side of their activation. you can still make out of activation attacks.

    And you can also still use TK offensively to pull a target in 2" and spin it around. That should work well to help Hyperion's guns as well as melee.

    I have actually been thinking about garryth with Hyperion. I mean death sentence can make those thresher guns actually work. Granted he'll have to take an arcnode to get that off but I think there are some real possibilities there.
