I love BC voodoo theme , and happily see it's the direction of BC.

Okay random thoughts.

1) Undead unit for Maeloks tier. Suuuper

2 Bog trogs have camo. Bone swarms animus gives concealment. Extra ranged defense if this caster isnt an albino or something.

I really like the swampy monster theme more than voodoo, but either way, I'm happy to see more stuff coming our way.

Guessing at 3 releases for Blindwater so one left unspoiled. Ill take a random shot and say heavy warbeast.

I have no complaints about this release setup. Now, hopefully they're going to give us something that'll let us crack heavy armor, like give the Shamblers darkshroud or something.

Hm... maybe he's just an idiot and have a spell like "Huh? No living model?" which make every enemy model in CTRL to a living one. Then the most nasty counters for Gatorman would be outruled... And it'd be great for a "hunting theme", since I think Rask will do that as a Bog.

And yes, please a ARM-Cracker and be it a light with an ARM-piercing shot and ROF2 to damage the "walls" enough to hinder them or that the Posse can charge them to death.

I would have rather seen a unit of Bog Trog crossbowmen, but I'm not going to complain with all the other neat stuff. Zomb-Trogs are neat, but I just want one other thing that can shoot.

We still don't know, how the shamblers will be equipped. Maybe they got some crossbows or acid spit. Or they're similiar to the croak hunter and have some javelins. But most of all I'm asking myself, what they'll be there for.

I'm leaning towards Mechanatrogs. I doubt gators put alot of stock into the well being of living trogs let alone dead ones.

So happy to hear we are getting another unit choice, even more happy to hear that it will theoretically synergize with Maelok as he is presently my favourite Gator Caster, and even more happy to hear all the rumours about Rask.

Even if they function as a cheap horde unit, that makes for some mighty fine Witch Doctor Sac-Strike Fodder, and lets face it ( if they end up being Mechthrall clones) an unblockable pow [insert armor value here] sac-strike is a great way to deal with pretty much any high def target.

Only downside I've can think of is small base, so poor screening unit for our more expensive stuff.

That shambler sketch makes them look like pretty basic zombies. No obvious weapons at all.

Speculation ahoy: pretty sure its a harpoon gun, so hopefully it'll have drag or something fancy like that. His spell seems to be benefiting both him and his shamblers, could be something like carnivore?

I hope if shamblers are just zombie trogs then they be a 3-5 unit with gang or something nice.

I'm a lot more excited about gargantuans now that there is assured Blindwater love!

Rask looks awesome! That harpoon gun he is holding looks like it could do some damage and he just looks cool over all. As for the shamblers, they do look like your typical zombie in trog form. Curious to see what rules and stats they will have and how they will play on the table.

The trogs in Rask's art are clearly the shamblers, left one has net draped over his shoulder the same way the bottom one in the concept piece has, while the one in the middle is in the same one pose as the top-left one (the one who has "use this pose" arrow pointing at him) in the concept.

My speculation to that picture is a question...

Is his spell giving something to those trogs... or taking something away? possibly a boost of some kind at the cost of sacrificing troops?

Bet ya that Rask has Excarnate.

He won't have a skarlock of DJ to cast it multiple times for him like Gaspy so it won't be nearly as good but I am betting that is the spell he is casting.

Looks like reviving is becoming a major mechanic of Blindwater. If Rask has a decent revival spell and the shamblers/ witch doctor plays anything like Alexia and the Risen we'll be adding models left and right.

Rask will be bought, simply because his artwork looks too awesome. And because a non-gator lock is refreshing so I'd like to be able to have that option avaliable to me. And his harpoon just looks wicked, and who doesn't like the idea of shooting trident harpoons at enemies?
