No Quarter UndeFEATable challenge

The challenge for issue 42 of NQ is to create and paint a model or a group of models being affected by a feat. I was thinking, which of the Cryx feats would you guys like to see the most?

I'm thinking Coven is too simple, since it's just to paint a model black, fading into colors to represent the 'jack coming out of the nightfall. Terminus would be pretty simple with a whole truckload of souls screaming towards him. One of the more advanced feats would be Mortenebra's Recalibration or eSkarre's Fate Weaver. A fun one would be eDenny's Web of Shadows with for example a Cygnaran Trencher being grabbed by black hands and held still. Tell me which feat you guys would like the most to see done, and I'll see if I can strive to make it happen!

I think Summoning type feats like Goreshade1's have good modeling opportunities.

Mortenebra's jacks with marionette strings on them.

Yeah i think morty would be cool if you can get her tinkering on a jack. But i do really like your Coven idea...

get battle engine base. Put eGaspy floating a few inches up on it. Extend the silly soul swirl thing his base has going on. Put Bane Knights and the Bane Thrall officer coming out the edge of the swirl and being all ghostly.

Fluffy and represents actual gameplay!

Another fun one. Terminus + Bile thrall + Malice's soul pieces/souls from eGaspy's base +a few models of your favorite enemy unit to mutilate + one or two risen. Have the bile laid out dead on the ground, all purged out, and the souls from the dudes being pulled to Terminus, along with a few risen to show the flesh corroded from the bones and the souls closer to Termy.

I wanna do a Skarre one.

Skarre is standing on a Deathjack, her blade on her for forearm.
The blood pouring out onto the Deathjack giving off an eerie glow as the Deathjack is fending of an opposing Juggernaut with ease, crushing it's hull with a mighty swing of it's fist.


...but I can't get Skarre to cut herself and I don't know how to get an "Eerie glow" Deathjack.

I think Venny's would be interesting, having a bunch of burning corpses and clouds popping over them.

Epic Deneghra, put a bunch of mimes their hand against an imaginary wall?


Epic Goreshade's might be kind of cool. You could have a mechanithralls or scrap thralls half phased out on one side of him, and a unit of bane thralls that have some guys half phased in.

Prime Deneghra maybe have some guys just out of feat range in a normal fighting posture, guys inside feat range slumped over like a big weight is upon them, maybe paint their skin paler and their arm/clothing slightly darker or muted

Honestly though, most Cryx feats may aparts from the soul collection feats and the Coven and Prime Denegrha may be too abstract to depict
