Spitter beat Ol'Rowdy in Melee

So last night I was playing a game against my friends Cygnar. Bloody vs pHaley. 35pt. I went first and ended up with a bad match up, the spitter looking across the field at Ol' Rowdy. A few turns later I have scratched Ol'Rowdy with some spit but hes rocking an arcane shield and there isn't a whole lot I can do. I figure my turtle is gunna get smashed the next turn. So I step into melee hoping that it could at least hurt it a bit more and tie him up for a turn. To help I threw on a spiny growth. My melee sees me actually getting in a bit of damage. Then his turn comes up and his dice just fail. I was keeping up on the damage he was doing with spiny growth and ended up taking out his hammer with spiny growth. Next turn repeat, and the following turn my spitter puts in the killing blow. So there is the tale of a spitter smashing Ol'Rowdy in melee.

Sweet~ Rowdy is a jack you don't want to confront most of the time, because he works well with little focus and now... That's cool, even if you can't calculate it... or more BECAUSE you can't!

I highly doubt I will ever be able to repeat that feat again. Ever! The look on my friends face when spiny growth knocked out his hammer was the best part.
