PhatAsian was the lone Protectorate representative to qualify. I think I was was 2nd Protectorate overall at 20th as I lost to the Ret player that qualified 1st to go 3-1. I don't have the number for how our faction did across the board but maybe someone will post that at some point.

Not to go off topic, but Jason Flanzer won Masters using pDoomy for 2 games and eGrissel for 1? I need to go over to the Trollblood forums and see if their collective heads have exploded yet.

To be fair, I saw the first game he played in masters versus E-Lich and John had destroyed his whole army (or very damn close) and the guy he was playing (Ryan?), swooped down with the feat and Tartarus on pKreosss and was able to just get in enough to kill him. That is a tough matchup for any of our lists and he played it well. I didn't see any of the other two games after that but I would guess that John lost a little focus after the first game.

Didn't we win last year with E-Kreoss? I feel bad that I haven't seen a lot of Protectorate at L&L either year now. I'll have to paint up the faithful for next year.

Actually last year the PoM player lost to Will Pagani's Kromac with Thyra in the finals.

Sure thing PhatAsian. I am glad that someone is representing Protectorate in masters regularly and playing at a high level. I aspire to someday but I am not there yet. Just curious but do you think giving up the Avatar for crutch-free has hurt you in the upper level games? I look forward to seeing the exact lists.
