Default Cracking out the Siege Animantarax

So we have a three day warmachine filled weekend here in Canberra, and since I got my SA on monday, i thought I'd take it out for a (completely untested) spin in the 35 point tournament

    EHexeris
    Bronzeback (Bonded)
    Gladiator
    Raider
    Savage
    SA
    Min Paingivers
    Agonizer
    35

Happy to hear any thoughts on the list, and I'll let everyone know how it goes

    Needs more tutle

But in seriousness, I'm not sure I want to play against it.
I agree on th eBronzeback bond, but maybe on the Gladiator since he'll probably be close to the front as the BB but you don't have to worry about loosing out on Hyperaggressive and Countercharge

I woul try out the BB as the node before discounting it. I also run three heavies at 35 points and I love having the BB bethe channeler. Train Wreck and the fact that he can kill anything he touches means he'll rarely be engaged, and you can bet he'll stick around for a while
I play on VASSAL as Lunar Wilderness

Terminus Caster Noms: Calandra, eSkarre, eStryker, eCaine, Morvahna
Storm Strider Caster Zaps: eVlad, Xerxis, pDenny

So I've played 5 games with the Siege Animantarax over the last 4 days, 3 at 35, two at 50, the 35 point games were played with the above list

Game was diversion against EHaley, managed to grab an early control point with my reinforcements, SA started peppering Stormblades near the zone, and the next turn I stupidly shot an ironclad in my own zone instead of shooting the stormclad that was preventing me from getting the second zone, next turn I pumped everything I could into it, SA did about 18 points of damage with its gun to the stormclad and squished a stormblade with its tail, but after throwing everything I could at it it was on three life and I lost on scenario

Game two was Demolition against ECaine, SA didn't do very much, was out of range (even with snipe) or had lucky mage storms blocking what it could see, highlight was having caine shoot it twice, so it hyperaggressived into his face and then was put down by the B13th and the minuteman, eventually hexeris was killed by ecaine on the feat turn

Game 3 was against ravyn in process of elimination, SA again didn't do a huge amount, ate some mage hunters and put about 15 damage into discordia in one turn, then tried to charge ravyn but failed to hit, bronzeback finished her off though.

After that I got two 50 point games in with this list:

    EHexeris
    Bronzeback (Bonded)
    Gladiator
    Raider
    Full Nihilators
    Full Venators with UA
    Min paingivers
    SA
    Swamp Gobbers

Game one was against a tier 4 ashlynn list, SA ate some gun mages and killed rhupert, and then proceeded to start tearing up a mule with it's gun. After ash failed to assassinate hexy, I tried to set up the caster kill for the SA by knocking her down with the gladiator, but the gladiator was a glory hog and killed her

Game 2 was against EDoomy, here it went off, dealing about 16 points of damage to an earthborn that failed to charge it, and then killing an axer, then I managed to knock Doomy down with the raider after he killed my bronzeback and the SA charged in and killed him as he had no beasts.
The verdict? I like it a lot, it likes hunting def12 heavies a lot, and can pump out a solid amount of damage to one alongside the raider, didn't really test out it's melee potential, and the only game it got damaged it was killed before i could use any rage tokens, which I feel will happen a lot. I also found it's a good target to bounce ashes to ashes off, as it can run/charge at some squishy infantry, is easy to hit, and you kill all the infantry and probably won't hurt the SA, and I actually need to cast black spot one game to see if I can get it working with that.
Also the bronzeback as a node worked fine, had no major issues in that regard.
