Hey why not a cryx extreme?

I was thinking about the carnivean extreme and I started to develop an insane envy beacause of the gorgeousness of the model. I'd really love a cryx extreme, maybe a Seether or something playable in multiple copies. Would you love an extreme jack? Which one?

If we got an extreme I would hope for a Slayer, Maybe a Seether, on the basis you could convert it to whatever Slayer chassis jack you wanted then.

I'd prefer an Extreme Slayer. I've never used a Slayer and I probably never will, but hey, I could convert it to become my fourth Seether. And yes, I have run 50 point lists with four Seethers successfully.

That would be large scale resin model. The thing's easily as large as a colossal, so it wouldn't work as a playable piece. The extremes are all still within the size range to be used as the model they represent. That thing most definitely isn't.

Nah. I highly doubt they'd do an Extreme of a character jack. After all, they want people to be able to buy multiples for their army if they want. (Or if they loose their mind. Whichever comes first. )

Khador got signature jacks (Destroyer/Juggernaut), the Circle one is pretty sig as well, as is the skorne and now Legion. Our most signature jack is the Slayer.

I doubt they'd make an extreme character model.......this forced the sales to be pretty much 1 per player of said faction, because realistically who needs 2 deathjacks? One of my friends bought the carnivean, and is contemplating getting 2 more and converting one to his 3rd ravagore, and making the other his proteus. So for PP to use none character models the opportunity to sell multiples is there and is very good.

If I could have any extreme sculpt I would honestly prefer Reaper since I hardly field a list without him (he's my go-to heavy) and Slayers seem to take a back seat since Reaper is only 1 point more and has, in my opinion, many more applications. Slayer will probably be what we get though, which I would still be very tempted to buy and just find a spot to fit him in. My order of preference would be Reaper, Seether, Slayer since they wouldn't make a character jack and I doubt they'd do a crab-jack either.

All of the extremes are from battleboxes. Cryx would get a Slayer, and I don't want another one of those. I still have no idea why they did an extreme Carni, that beast is incredible crap. I would KILL for an extreme Seether though! Make it happen, PP! EXTREME SEETHER!

- Feral Warpwolf
- Gladiator Titan
- Dire Troll Mauler
- Carnivean
- Juggernaut

If Cryx, Protectorate, and Cygnar get an Extreme, it should be Slayer, Crusader, and Ironclad respectively.

I respectfully disagree, it should be Seether but it probably will be Slayer because you are absolutely correct about the formula PP seems to use to assign which jack becomes extreme

Why should it be a Seether? Slayers are similar enough to convert them a bit anyway (really the main difference is the head and MOAR spikes on the Seether) and gives you easy options to make something else as well.

Also, I don't really use Seethers much. Not that I use Slayers much, but it least it could bring some diversity in a Morty theme force.

I think that Slayers are probably overall the least used heavy in our faction (not counting the Corruptor because it doesn't deserve to be counted) with any caster besides Morty. I think an extreme Seether would see more play since it's not uncommon to find at least one in most lists that include helljacks.

Also, I think Seethers look better while Slayers' looks don't really impress me a whole lot so I'd rather see a giant Seether... although if I could pick any jack to be extreme for us it would be a character (just about any of them), it's unfortunate that PP isn't likely to release an extreme character jack.

No. You wish it would be a Seether, but the precedent set forth by the other Extremes says it should be a Slayer. Get your verbs right.

I would have to agree with Zeezok, but an extreme slayer would open us up to modifying it to be an extreme reaper, an extreme Malice an Extreme Nightmare, an Extreme Erebus. I feel like I am forgetting one. Anyway, suffice to say if we got a slayer, we'd get our extreme character jacks. Well I suppose you could make an extreme corruptor... for some weird reason.

As far as an extreme Slayer being able to be modded into a character - I am sure that it is theoretically possible but I know with certainty that I don't possess the skills to make the proper weapons or additional bits with enough precision to make my mod as good as a real PP sculpt. There are people who could do it, no doubt, but I for one would create a substandard version and so I can't really say that I would see the possibility of modification to an extreme Slayer as making me wish it were not Seether instead, or even a Reaper since I really do love me some Reapers.
