    Default Crazy good or insanely bad? eButch-double Conquest

    I'm going from memory on these point costs so I could easily be off by one or two. If Butch is only WJ+6 then drop the dog.

    50 pts
    eButch: +7
    Dog: 1
    2x Conquest: 38
    MoW Mech: 3
    min Mechsx2: 2
    DoomR+UA: 8
    Eiryss (because upkeeps suck): 3

    It's pretty obvious what I'm going for here. Butch camps safely out of LOS, mechs keep dumping health into the Colossi, and Conquests use their fairly potent shooting to clear screens while wedging up-table. It's an immovable wall of eButcher delivery system. With Fury this list can kill anything, regardless of ARM value.

    I didn't want to wuss around trying to shoehorn Conquest into one of the more prevalent 1-jack infantry lists. eButch does something interesting for conquest via his 'free charge' and passives when he starts killing, and Conquest works pretty well with eButch by completely blocking LOS and actually running pretty well on his ~4 foc per turn (1 to boost hit, 1 to boost damage x2). It would take nothing short of a multiunit bane charge to wipe out my jackwall.

    The only point error I see is with the Mechanik UA: he's only 2 points.

    Do you think the dual Konquest guns are going to be enough to handle an opposing wall of jacks or heavy infantry? You've only got about ten offensive models on the table, potent though they may be. What sort of bad match-ups can you envision? I recently played a Cryx list consisting of two full units of Banes, and I don't think the Creeping Fire nor big-gun-AOE would pose a -serious- threat to them.

    I don't think I could say how this is without playing it, but I'd be cautious about it. It sets off alarms in my head.

    I think this list is terrible versus Cryx. Parasite/Shroud/Grasp will ruin my day. C'est la vie.

    I'm hoping that the doubled up creeping barrages is enough to just thin out incoming infantry enough that I can survive, repair, and plod into them.

    Yeah, but I don't think most infantry would be a *serious* threat to a single colossal anyway, much less two. Watch out for Armor Piercing if you decide to run with it.

    Other than Behemoth I can just kinda shrug off double Hunters. I think all the other meaningful AP is melee only and just 1st hit.

    Colossals aren't the best recipient of rage tokens. I'd probably go with Butcher1 instead, given what was written about the reasons for taking Butcher2 (free charge for the Colossals, which Butcher1 can do with Full Throttle). Two 5" bases will also severely limit Butcher2's charge lanes into the front, if you're using them to screen.

    That's actually a really good point. His feat will also help a lot with clearing infantry for the 1 Big Turn.

    Also pButcher is stronger in combat then eButcher given his consistent focus stat and IF.

    Kayazy+UA: 10
    MowMech:2
    Min Mechs: 2
    eEiryss: 3
    Dog: 1

    I guess I feel a lot better about this list. The Kayazy can stand behind for protection against chain lightning-esque effects and use acrobatics to pounce, or in front as a normal screen. Mechs for repair bill, eiryss for upkeeps.

    I dont necessarily disagree, but why do you say that? Bonus move/attacks on a 5 inch base with sky high P|S and Reach seems pretty golden to me.
