Bring it on, Vassal isn't too bad and a few practice games in you'll be a pro.

Have not submitted yet, but anyone want to team up with me?

I like long moonlit walks on the beach with of side of Grissel. Be it rainy, snowy, prime, epic, tier or non tiered.

I would also consider championing Borka or pMadrak.

Let me know if your interested those are my top 4 choices for 'locks, if you just really wanna team with me I will play whatever your preferred caster is.

I would like to add that when not playing. I will be available for pep talks, poor strategy advice, and instilling doubt in your opponent.

So I hope that sweetens the pot just a tad.

What time frame would the games be in? Because I can play middle of the week dead of the night games like crazy. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from about 9pm Mountain Time to about 6am Mountain Time.

It's flexible. Since we will have a primary and a backup for each warlock that weeks scheduled game can be wherever it needs to be, so long as it finishes on time. So if people aren't committed, it hurts their standing because they forfeit missed games. Having 2 players helps minimize that...

I submitted but do not have a teammate. I will play any warlock so long as I can do it while drinking a beer.

I'd love to give it a shot, but I'm a seriously under-experienced player and even though I have Vassal installed, I have no idea what I'm doing. Good luck to the participants though!

If you want in then submit, at the very least you will have a teammate and you can learn as you go. Vassal is easy once you get the hang of it.

Troll Casters only, anything they can field is fair game. Bog Trogs, Totem Hunter, Wrongeye... all fair game.

You'd be suprised, we play against Baka all time and he lives on the other side of the universe form us. Also we will be actively helping folks arrange games.

I would sign up if it wasn't for the fact I'm moving in just over a week and will probably have zero time to sit down and play games on vassal. Whoever takes Grim, good luck to you sir!

I was discussing this with a few fellow WMH players at my LGS last night, they were all pretty jealous that the troll community ran something like this. The fact that trolls get together with fun ways to compete and also promote a great community to enjoy the game and the faction we love is awesome, and something the other factions don't seem to do. Coming over from cygnar originally, I must say that this is the place for me, I might dabble in other armies, but you can't beat the community we have here. There might be disagreement from time to time, but nothing that can't be solved with a battle and some brew, troll style!

I AGREE! And while the corruption of Cryx has taken hold, I think I will always consider myself a troll player.

Also, I think TheGreatBlah and Goris (even though he dodged our rematch game at L&L) should be given alot of credit for helping along the community with Trollscrum and being a constant voice in these forums.

Couldn't agree more. They dedicate a lot of time to keep the community thriving and provide content for players. This tournament is an amazing idea get people involved and build a stronger troll base. Maybe these efforts will see more people playing trolls and winning events?

Our love for Trolls runs deep in our blood, probably due to some actual Trollblood ancestry buried deep in our family lines.

Thank you for the kind words.

Thanks for the praise guys. We do try quite a bit to keep the community going and involved and I'm glad to see it's working. Dire Brackets is going to be awesome for sure. Also I know I will be posting up when and if I get games on on the forums so people can come and watch the action.

@Omerplata It's not for lack of trying. Had I not gotten a buy in the masters qualifier I think I had a fair shake at getting into finals, but in the end getting a buy is almost as bad as getting a loss. But hey, I can't complain about a 3-1 record in the qualifier... Big props to Flanzer though for dominating masters. Watching him play has been a lesson in unconventional list building and tight play. So, the onyl thing I can say is keep practicing. I plan to hit at least 2-3 cons next year for competitive play and maybe I'll do well for the boys in blue....

I am no where near skilled enough to be doing masters are big events, but I would love to be able to attend and play a few games at least. Unfortunately being a student makes this pretty difficult for me at the moment. Some day.

Congrats on the good run btw!

From my rules page. I'm allowing any models that we have in the book or a con pre-released even the model itself is not available.

That means the MK, Storm Troll and Sons of Bragg are all allowed.

Submission deadline has passed, HOWEVER, there are two more spots if anyone is still interested, I need to know TODAY if you want to play in the games. Pairings and caster assignments will be made today and the bracket challenge for the wider community will start once those are finished.

Bracket Challenge (Similar to March Madness) is open to everyone players or spectators and with the help of Battlefoam and Discount games we have additional prizes on top of those listed on the event page. Stay tuned for more info.
