OH F*** YES! Second Mountain King AND Storm Troll in September... It's like Christmas...in September...
Plastic Storm Troll. Interesting....

"Igitur qui desiderat pacem, praeparet bellum - He who wishes for peace, let him prepare for war."
Wow, 2 Mountain Kings. I envy your hobby budget!
But those are really well priced. For what I was expecting to pay for the MtK, it's like getting the Storm Troll for free...
Although, I will probably end up splitting the Hordes two player box too.
September is going to be a busy month of painting! ;D
They might even have the lightning troll at Gencon, and since the MtK was at Lock n Load it's a safe bet that he'll be there too.
Looks like a good month.
I'm not sure how I feel about the Storm being plastic, but I have a feeling once I hold it in my hands my concerns will vanish quickly. The Mountain King, while still unsure of its worth (in dollars per fun), will be a model I pick up at least just to have painted.
Guess it's time to start saving!
it doesnt actually SAY plastic for that storm troll
Yes it does...
oh yeah *apologies for being blind* but having said they have got Plastic wrong before on Warstore *shrugs* price is a big different to other plastics isnt it ?
I wholly expect him to be metal. I can just tell by looking at him that he is. It just...LOOKS like metal underneath that paint.
We are all legends. Our only choice is how to end the tale...

Page 5, Warmachine Mk 1. Prime, 2003So play like you've got a pair, or put down the metal and go find something made of plastic.
The Storm Troll is metal, not plastic.
Overall I love the new Storm Troll model. The only thing I don't like are those weird *** coral spongy looking things on his back. I'd remove those and use the Mauler fur instead. Also. a lot less lightning on him than I imagined, but I'd definitely see to convert it and add some lightning bolts in his hands like such:

TheWarStore hasn't got a listing wrong.Proof where? TheWarStore has it listed as plastic and in previous cases where the PP listing in their website didn't say say plastic but theirs did, they've been right, every time. Examples: Winter Argus, Scarsfell Griffon

The Warstore says Plastic... Privateer press says metal. Who to believe.

True, I was just making a note for cost comparison. Hard to tell why the expense until the model is in hand though. I won't complain, I hope that this leads to some sort of plastic light kit for us in the future. The pyre seems to severely undersized compared to these guys. Size doesn't matter though when you spit fire on your hands and punch people in the face.
