    Default Crazy Homebrew idea: Ret Caster Attachment

    Okay, so I'll admit, this idea is part born out of jealousy, part "I like this model and want more", and part thinking of faction needs. So these ideas sloshed around in the brain for awhile, until I thought up the crazy idea for a Ret specific caster attachment, who addresses some of the needs of the faction (but not the one you'd think) without being too crazy. Maybe. So, here goes.

    The Arcanist Engineer

    Background:
    A senior arcanist, who's seen years of service in the Iosan military, from the War of Houses, to the current conflicts at home and abroad. He's a leader amongst his kind, and he both works closely with the artificers of House Shyeel to improve myrmidon design and function, while also supporting casters in the field with his expertise and advanced arcantric tools.

    Stats:
    Same as an Arcanist, +1 DEF, five wounds.

    Weapons:
    Wrench, same as the Arcanist.

    Rules:
    Repair [9]
    Attached
    Inspiration [Arcanist] (Not strictly needed, but I thought was a neat little extra.)
    Sacrificial Pawn [Faction Myrmidon]
    Arcantric Tuning (See Caitlin Finch)
    Arcane Reservoir (When this model makes a Repair roll, it may effect Force Field boxes)
    Elite Cadre [Arcanists]: Arcanist solos gain Arcane Reservoir
    Arcane Sympathy (When a Friendly Faction Myrmidon spends a focus points to regenerate it's field boxes while within this model's CMD range, this model's attached Warcaster heals d3 points of damage)

    Cost:
    3 points
    FA: 1

    SO... is this too crazy? I think it's a neat idea for something that's an alternative to Sylas, and also provides a bit more focus support for our jacks and casters, which is really something we lack. Also, I like Arcanists, and feel more of them would be awesome. He miiiight be too crazy to go with a future dedicated jack caster, but then again who knows when or if we'll get anything like that. But yeah, Arcantric Tuning. Hot damn do I want this. We need to steal Finch and put pointy ears on her...

    I agree and drop him down to two points or give him elite cadre for the arcanists which gives them +1 to their repair skill. To be honest you could probably make him a solo more akin to Strangeways and give him some command range wide abilities such as a jack in his cmd range charge for free or tune up or a few other things.

    If you want him as a caster attachment then I agree with the Finch skill and then toss him something like the squire where he can have a caster get an extra focus a couple times per game.
