The Hog are out of thier pen at full speed! Speaking of wich,I have a question: do Lord Carver Mobility spell and the Road Hog Full Boar ability stack together? Please say yes!
Are you farrow players excited about this release? It seems like a pretty damn good heavy, and it works well with your play style I'd say.
The road hog is a huge boost to the farrow staple of warbeasts. I've had a proxy since the book was released, and I'm looking forward to getting the models.
SPD 9 with a 10" spray that sets things on fire. Soooo Gooood.
your proxy model was made out of a warhog and some 40k parts if i'm not mistaken. Looked good.
I'll be getting one since it is mostly a utility/opportunity beast. 2x ps 14s keeps it out of the spam catagory for me (unless midas has hotshot or something absurd.)

I've been proxying one too. Not a top end beast (like a scythean, titan gladiator or warpwolf stalker) but really handy. Has been much more useful than war hogs. I was only going to get one but after seeing how much piggies want (need!) good sprays I may get two.
is anyone gonna try to make a magnetizable warhog/roadhog?
I like the road hog, because he doesn't seem to stick forward in front of the base as the warhog.
nom nom nom
I got my Road Hog this afthernoon, put it together, and,I must say,he look greath! However,I have a few personal problem: first,he have no tail! Why? do Arkadius think he was going to step on it by accident? also,I have two diferent tusk, but I manage^^ I think I post a pic once I am done painting him^^ and he have spray 10" ?! AWESOME! I cant wait to see him sprint all acros the table!
I was more surprised to find out the base SPD of the roadhog was 5, instead of 4.
Really makes me wish the War Hog was SPD 5 *grumble*grumble*
It should, since frenzy-rules states, that the models activate immediatly and Docs feat just says, that the beasts frenzy (and can actually activate later)...
Woohoo! New strategies!

Hm... so if anyone asks about it, tell us the result. ^^

Hey, I was wondering how secure the "Ankle" joints are? It looks kinda weak to me and I am seriously worried that with repeated handling from less than delicate opponents might eventually fatigue the joint and we'll watch Franken-pig-v2.0 fall face first on the table? Any input from you guys who already have their hands on your Hogs?
I'm worried about this because I've actually had trouble with this in the past, namely G.W. Figs and some of the ones from Soda Pop...
Thanks for the reply, I was concerned about the joint the second I saw the preview, especially in light of how heavy I know the War Hog is. I'm definitely going to get some one way or another, I was just wondering if I was going to have to figure out additional supports somehow. I'm planning on three eventually. I'm the sole Pig-Farmer out here-abouts. I need to keep them afraid of the Pork.
I assembled mine this morning and I admit it took me a few minutes to figure out how to up the upper and lower body together. I think figuring out the legs took me twice as long. I am concerned about the connection between the legs and lower torso myself.

Got mine together tonight.Looksbetter than I had thought it would.... Lookingforwardto some table time withhim
Yea got 2 of them today and managed a game with thm but I need some more games to get used to it. I think pinning this sucker is almost a must. Mine fell apart a few times but I think it's because of the glue not really connecting well.

Picked one up yesterday after what felt like an enternity since Domination was released.
Looks much better than the photos and such a fun model to boot to. Also just pinged ot up for our league to.
Also a side note on Dr. Arc tier lists with the Road Hog. Warbeasts in Dr. Arc's list get +2SPD for the first turn. Could you;
Full Boar for another +2SPD, run for a total of 18", activate Dr. Arc, advance 6", pop feat (still catching the Road Hog in your control area), Frenzy towards their lines with SPD+4 and 3" for the charge?
Working on being able to field every merc teir 4 list.
