Default No salty pillars for me!

I don't like the idea of Pillars of Salt for my Circle Orboros army. So thinking about it I wanted the pieces I was going to make to look like they were rocks ripped upwards from the ground. I can see that being fairly doable for a Druid, right? I keep thinking that I want to play Moshar and having some card 3" templates just wasn't right. What is the point in spending ages painting my army when the templates I use suck? I wanted to keep the look of the army consistent and that extends to the gaming aids I use. I have managed to make three so far and these are those:

Gorgeous! Ever since I read Mohsar's rules I've wanted to build some pillars to go with him too, even though I think the salt thing is pretty cool. I just really like the idea of a model that can create his own terrain pieces around him (and those pieces being somewhat easier to build than all the various circle stuff that creates forests of various sizes, which are close to impossible to build in 3d).

They are locking very nice and stuff!

But what do you do if you want them to overlap or pile up...?

How about some alternate-paint scheme CYGNAR?! And after that, why not spend some time in the woods with my CIRCLE ORBOROS...?!

just heard the Chain Attack podcast on this (the new one, not the old one) and if i remember what they said, the pillars are structures? if that's true, i don't think they can overlap...

You did it again. I hope to see this pillars across the table someday, you still improve your skill in all parts of the hobby.

They can overlap each other, infernal ruled.
They just can't touch other models.

Thanks guys! I don't really worry too much as to whether they can overlap or not. Spreading them out is in most cases I can think of more useful than dropping thm on top of each other.

@ Blutaxt: any time you are in Hamburg and want a game let me know. I have been to play in Kiel too. Maybe you can be tempted out to a tournament sometime? :-)
