Finding threads I've posted to with new content

I have a question about the mechanics of this forum.

In other vBulletin forums I frequent, I can go to this page to view threads that I've posted to that have new posts that I haven't yet read. This makes it really easy to follow discussions that I've taken part in. But that doesn't seem to work on these forums: the "Subscribed Threads with New Posts" box is always empty. Is there something I need to configure to get this to work, is the feature missing from PP's version of vBulletin, or is there another page that I can use for that purpose?

I know I can see my posts on my profile page, but that doesn't tell me whether there is any new discussion in those threads.

What am I missing? Besides a few Storm Striders...

I've always clicked on the Quick Links tab at the end of the top bar, and clicked "subscribed threads" from the dropdown, and that always gives me whatever threads I've posted in with whatever threads have new posts in bold.

I've never had to set it up, though. Maybe you have a cookie problem? Maybe it's your browser.

Hmmm... I've tried that page too, but it only gives me threads I intentionally subscribed to.

I just looked in "General Settings", and found a drop-down titled "Default Thread Subscription Mode", which may do the trick.

And that did it! Don't know why it was set to no subscriptions.

So, to anyone else who has this problem: Click "Settings" at the top, "General Settings" under "My Account", then change "Default Thread Subscription Mode:" to "Through my control panel only". After that, new threads you post in will show up on the Settings page.
