    Default Ideas for new 'jacks!

    Before you say (or type) anything, yes, I know, probably no ideas posted here will ever be used. That being said, please post YOUR ideas for new 'jacks. I know it's hard, but try to keep it somewhat realistic. I quite like the idea of a 'jack with a tower shield and an axe on a chain, or maybe one with unbelievably high armor, but attacks that only debilitate from a distance (like the Mercenary Buccaneers net or a freeze bomb thingy).
    SOLVING PROBLEMS, THE KHADOR WAY
    1.) Identify and locate the problem.
    2.) Bombard the problem with explosives.
    3.) Carefully approach the problem, then bull rush it head-on.
    4.) Apply axe and/or fist vigorously to the closest face. Repeat as necessary.

    a character jack for butcher. a Kodiak with fists that have blades on them making them reach and he has a mat of 8 he has the same pow and he has chain attack bloodbath instead of grab and smash. he is aggressive and if he is fielded with butcher he gets overtake. 10 pts i would so run it

    Something I'd like is a Jack that excels at dealing damage from range:

    Annihilator
    Cost: 9

    Stats:
    Built on Spriggan Chassis - SPD 4, STR 12, MAT 6, RAT 4, DEF 10, ARM 19
    34 Boxes with the addition of a Head system

    Weapons:
    2x Open Fist P+S 14 (right and left arm)
    1x Annihilator Cannon RNG 12, POW 10, ROF 1, AOE - (Head)

    Abilities:
    Arcantrik Rangefinder - Once per turn this model may spend one focus to activate its Arcantrick Rangefinder. Target model within 12" is Marked for one turn. Models in this warjack's battlegroup gain +2 to ranged attack rolls made against the Marked models.
    Bulldoze - When this model advances into base contact with an enemy model during its activation, the enemy model may be pushed up to 2" directly away from it.
    Annihilator Cannon - Armor Piercing, Critical Knockdown

    Picture a Spriggan with two open fists and a large rifled cannon on his head. The idea is obvious: bring a powerful ranged attack to the table while boosting ranged output from all of our jacks. Plus he'd give Harkevich a great reason to cast broadsides. His melee output is a bit lacking by Khador standards, but the ability to use all of the power attacks gives him some utility if something breaks through your lines. Finally, bulldoze helps him disengage himself when the need arises.

    Models with the Karchev 'Man in the Machine' rule, only in light jack chassis. Get's around a lot of issues. They run and charge and do power attacks for free, but can't be allocated focus and don't belong to a battle group. I just want to play with the idea a bit.

    I figure if we ever get Karchev back he might be able to explain the mystery of why he's the only one to survive the procedure, plus the fact that he may have picked up some Cryxian necromancy secrets while he was on his honeymoon with Denehgra.

    I would like to have a 9 point non-character Melee Jack. 9 points worth of Basic Khadoran wrath with an axe. Our most expensive model is a Kodiak and it's our pathfinder/ 2 fists jack. Something with a Big old Axe and A shield 22 Armour and 34 boxes. No tricks No bells No whistles just 9 points of Melee Jack.

    I like the idea of a bear-like jack that runs on all fours. Has a big gun mounted on its back and huge jaws for crushinating....

    Character Devastator: Basically the same except that after it does the RoD attack, it also does a covering fire equal to the size of the RoD, and people entering or ending get a pow 9.

    The butcher and Irusk need character jacks... I mean COME ON.

    I would love a jack with berserk. Beast already has thresher, sure, but it has always struck me odd that the berserker doesn't actually have the ability of its namesake.

    character mauader with a follow up attack. boosted damage against knocked-down targets would be awesome, but probably asking too much.

    Lots of characters here, but i think we should try for more originals!

    Here are some of mine!

    After the Disaster at Point Bourne, the Khador Mechaniks assembly was tasked by Supreme Kommandant Irusk and the Empress herself to create sets of modified Jack types which can take advantage of the new forms of combat taking place within the cities of the world. No longer could a Jack work in an empty field and be called a success. A jack needed to be tested in multiple environments and able to perform well, from open field to cloistered city. And thus, after many of the Kayazy nobles were pressed of their patriotic duty, the Patriot line of Jacks was created.
    The Patriot Line:

    Breacher:
    Juggernaut Chassis.

    Left arm- Flamethrower SP 6
    Right arm- Behemoth Rocket Fist

    Gunfighter and Flak Field.

    Built for Close Quarters fighting, the breacher was built to be able to crush its way through the toughest fortification and destroy any infantry within it.

    Nationalist

    Juggernaut Chassis
    Liberator Cannon- Range- 15" Pow 15 AOE - RoF1
    Open Fist

    Vantage point- This jack gains +2 RAT if it has elevation over its target.
    Cold Tempered Shot- Jacks and Beasts hit by this weapon are made stationary, Models destroyed by it are removed from Play.

    A longer Ranged Jack, it was created to take advantage of higher ground and pound even the most quick of enemy Jacks into Dust and Ice.

    The Goliath Suit
    Stats: SPD 5 Str 10 Mat 7 Rat 5 Def 11 Arm 18

    Ice Maul- Reach, Pow 15, Ice breaker.
    Grenade Cannon- Range 10, Pow 14, Arcing Fire, AOE3

    around 24 boxes. Man in the Machine. Shield Guard

    The newest revolution in steam and armour technology has allowed the man o war suit to be augmented to the point where they are nearly as potent as a Warjack.

    Spriggan Chassis
    Long Blade- Pow 17
    Shield- Pow 16
    Frost cannon- Range 10" Pow 10 RoF1 Frosted Steel (every point of damage over their ARM does 2 points)

    Rime (anyone who hits the model in melee is made stationary)

    Patriot-1A

    Character Spriggan Chassis
    2 handed Halberd- Must take out both arms to damage.

    Not sure what to do with him yet.
    Accumulator- Man o Wars.

    The Namesake of the Patriot Line of Jacks, Patriot 1A has been shipped to the frontlines and has been influential in a number of battles.

    I'd like to see some arcane mechanik invent analog speakers, allowing a warcaster who's "jacked in" to speak through it. Mechanically, a jack with a working voicebox would spread its warcaster's CMD bubble, like the opposite of herding.

    Not that I would take that with epic Irusk or anything.

    Some form of slightly lighter armoured (read - the Spriggan) dedicated gunjack. Give it something akin to a Heavy Barrel with the option for one of these abilities once per turn; Case Cracker, Blaster, or Rapid Fire provided a Focus point is paid to use it. The other arm would be a weak open fist loading arm with P+S13/14, give it RAT5, and possibly Advance Move, for 10pts.

    hmm, simple and balanced but effective. i would buy that in a hot second. id use two actually.

    I'd love to see a character clam jack with an affinity to Karchev.

    A few No Quarter's ago there was a 'scrappers:build a jack' challenge. I have a 1/2 finished jack from that.

    It was designed to be the Kodiak's little brother. A salvaged Lancer, MoW shoulder pads, Shock Trooper shields (with cannons) on both fists, using cut down plastic jack arms, with an arc node on top

    I think I'd like a spriggan, except without the lance, just a huge, long range cannon. You could even make it a bigger, Khador version of the Hunter. Range 12, Pow 10, ROF 1, Armor Piercing, and critical devastation.

    He's got a bit of a gorilla look to him, even cutting down all of the armor, the Khador plastic arms are still really meaty. If the Cygnar plastics had been available when I did it, I probably would have just carved up a charger chassy.

    Id like to see Strakhov replace Torch (seeing the poor beggar was torn apart) With say something like the 3 light jacks from the red team in grind as a light jack Kommando team, Have the 3 of them used like the great bears as a team where they give each other certain abilities for being in close proximity to each other. Maybe stats like these? (how ever this is the 1st time ive done anything like this so im probs gonna be useless at it. but here goes)

    So theres my contribution to this thread ill eventually be good enough at this to make something better and probably less over powerd etc.

    The Zerker from the league a yr back would be acceptable as well.

    I think the Berserker has a bad name, too close to the ability. Regular jacks should not have abilities that require an amount of bloodlust and madness only the human brain can muster. Brutality is fine, and the League berserker with overtake was really awesome.
