    Striders 6p

Striders absolutely must have the UA with P-Thagrosh, Hunter stops fog of war from crippling them all game, and you don't need more than 1 shredder with him for sure (unless you're theming it up, but of course you're not in this case). Drop the shredder and harrier, put in Strider UA and solo of choice.

The Strider UA was going to be on my next purchase hopefully. So you mean i should drop one of each shredder and harrier? Yeah that sounds like it would be more effective. I usually use shredders to engage models that mainly have range attacks, other than tenacity they seem pretty filler with me because I still dont own a lot of models at this point.

    Thanks for the quick reply!

I do like a few lessers (my normal was one of each) in his theme at 50 points, they did good harassment, but honestly you could cut the Harrier too (I rarely find them that useful, shredders can go faster and still hit often enough), and then you have 3 points to kick around either another solo, swap the forsaken for a Shepherd and get a unit in there (warspears work really well for me, Gators could be used as well, or keeping the forsaken and using Legionnaires, or Legionnaires + Vessel), It really depends on what you own of course, since you're not always going to have access to any given model choice for a list until you have a big collection of a faction.

Yeah that makes sense. Ill probably stick with the harrier at least for now because of my model selection. At least when thags gets in a bind he can hit for free. Striders are my only unit atm so I need to fix that. I proxyed typhon before and he will also be on my next buy for sure

I think it'd be easier to know what models you own, since that seems to be a major constraint. I'd recommend more carnivean-type heavies, if you have them.

I have the 3 major heavies, Carni, Scythe, ravagore, shredders from the battle box, have a blister of harriers and stingers, 2 forsakens, Strider unit, Angelis, and thats about it :P

Then I would recommend taking the carnivean, scythean, and ravagore for sure. With spiny growth and death shroud they are an effective armor 22 against melee. Pair that with their damage and threat range and you have a brutal all-purpose battlegroup.
