SR2012 Tournament - Need help choosing a second list
We've got a SR2012 tournament coming up, and I'd like to play in it. I'm pretty settled on my first 50 point list, but I'm having a hard time deciding on a second list. Thought would be appreciated.
Stormblades + UA
ATGM + UA
I can't decide who is the best secondary caster. I'm also open to any suggestions on improving this list. Thoughts?
Im running a similar list and would recommend ECaine as your second caster. I would also suggest putting the Cyclone on the gunmages.
I'd thought about putting the Cyclone on the Gun Mages when I first made the list, but I decided to run it with Haley instead during my first game. It ended up being a lifesaver because on a critical turn, I was able to load it with three focus and throw a Warjack into Asphixious for the win. I keep thinking that the ability to fully utilize all power attacks makes keeping it on Haley a good idea. I plan to try it both ways, but for now, I'm liking it on Haley.
As far as eCaine, I've given him some thoughts, too. Any ideas on the best way to use him? I've never played an eCaine list, so I'm not entirely sure what to use. This is my rough idea:
Arcane Tempest Gunmages w/UA
Full Precursor Knights w/UA
Lady Aiyanna & Master Holt
Eiryss, Angel of Retribution
Reinholdt, Govver Speculator
How does that look? Ol' Rowdy just seems good because he is a focus efficient beatstick, and the idea of knocking some stuff down on Caine's feat turn seems really good, too.
I like the ecaine list iceman, my only beef is the lady aiyanna and master holt are largely a bleh unit and very corner case in my practice. I would drop them for support on the PK's either archduke who can grant pathfinder to caine or piper and throw in another 2 point solo like corbu for more movement shannigans.
Estryker and siege is awesome 2nd caster. Not alot of bad matchups.
I'd have to change the list up a bit for EHaley then, as I'm running both Runewood and the Piper in that list. It wouldn't take much wiggling though. A&H just seemed like a decent include, but definitely not necessary.
