    Default Kromac2 (Homebrew)

What if Kromac because the Hordes equivalent of Kharchev?

    Say:

    SPD 6
    STR 11
    MAT 8
    RAT 4
    DEF 15
    ARM 18
    CMD 9
    FURY - 6
    4+ Warbeast Points
    Life Spiral like Ghetorix

    Weapons:
    Claw - Pow 4 Base (P+S 15)
    Open Fist

    Dawnbreaker - Pow 6 Base (P+S 17)
    Reach, Magical Weapon

    Rules:

    Pathfinder

    Terror

    Attuned Spirit [Faction Living Warbeast]
Controlled Warping - As Warpwolves text:
    - Spirit of Anger: Gain one fury point and Snacking for one round. (was thinking of something different from Snaking...)
    - Spirit of the Hunt: Gains Prowl and Hunter for one round.

Man in the Beast - Kromac is a living model but he neither a warbeast or a warrior model. He has a life spiral and suffers damage like a warbeast. Kromac can make slam, trample, throw, headlock/weapon lock, and push power attacks without being forced. Kromac cannot reave fury while his Spirit aspect is crippled. Friendly Faction models with the Medicate skill can attempt to heal Kromac. When Kromac spends fury points to heal damage, he can only heal damage in his Body aspect.

Feat: Hunting Hour - While in Kromac's control area, warbeasts in Kromac's battlegroup can Charge or do Trample and Slam power attacks without being forced.*Friendly Faction models activating in Kromac's control area*gain +2 SPD and Hunter. Hunting Hour lasts for one round.

    Spells:

    Carnage (Makeda1)
    Phantom Hunter (Goreshade2)
    Wild Aggression

What does everyone thing? Too good? Too bad? Too weird?

I'd be sad if Kromac actually lost a fury by becoming epic. I think its kinda gimped that he could only heal his body spiral. i'm not to thrilled with the feat either. Our wayfarer does half of it with hunters mark. Really what we'd be gaining it +2 speed and thats just ehhh.

The DEF to ARM ratio seems a bit high. Maybe DEF 14 ARM 17. Also, Karchev has a similar thing to his Controlled Warping in Arkantrik Turbine. He also gets an extra FOC/FURY but his base is FOC 5. A FURY 7 P+S 17 and 15 is scary and just a little overpowered. Another spell or two wouldn't hurt either.
Apart from that, I love the idea behind it.

He would be horribly, horribly broken...

    Say:
Oh it wasn't hypothetical...I'm sad now.

    SPD 6
    STR 11
    MAT 8
    RAT 4
    DEF 15
    ARM 18

The DEF/ARM split is mental. 15/18 is fine with a Warcaster, where stacking either is a great defence, but damage sticks - when you have high both and you get a massive hit that slides off, that's ridiculous survivability.

    FURY - 6
    4+ Warbeast Points
    Life Spiral like Ghetorix
FURY 6 is alright, though still pretty mental for such a tough beatstick already.

    Weapons:
    Claw - Pow 4 Base (P+S 15)
    Open Fist

    Dawnbreaker - Pow 6 Base (P+S 17)
    Reach, Magical Weapon
Not exactly ridiculous on it's own...well, it kind of is.

    Rules:
    Pathfinder
Ok, all fairly logical, for the most part.
Atttuned Spirit is beyond ridiculous when you throw in the Winter Argus animus. 15/20 on whim, with Transfers is stupid.

His Warping options are a little odd...and the first one is also overly powerful, as he already hits like a ton of bricks. Make them more like a Stalker, though I'd avoid Prowl.

Ok, copied from Karchev, but the Crippled Spirit is not nearly negative enough. Preventing leeching and reaving is more akin to Crippled B and certainly more balanced.

Not mental until you factor in the greatly improved ability of Hordes to one-turn-push already and this is just making that a massive amount of damage in one go. Sure, your stuff will probably frenzy next turn, but your opponent doesn't have an army anymore because I applied Stalkers...

    Spells:
    Carnage (Makeda1)
    Phantom Hunter (Goreshade2)
    Wild Aggression
Carnage and Wild Aggression step on each others toes. I'd suggest dropping Wild Aggression (since he had that in his original form and his feat is basically that)

Phantom Hunter...I don't really see the logic here.

Too good? Too bad? Too weird?
Oh god, too good, far too good...
