If i´m not totally wrong both Reinholdt and Syls are Warcaster attachment. So you can only use one.

Secondy Croe´s dudes are maybe not the best unit to take.. especially if they are your only unit. But to be honest, i have no experience with them. I just hear from everywhere they cost to much and they are only really potent against living dudes.

You could switch them out and take the Devil dogs as full unit and let her marshall the mule. Her drive lets the Mule move and still get the benefits of aim and steam pressure. While on the other hand that singly boosted hit you get form marshalling should be enough for the mule to work. This would take so focus load from magnus.
In addition the Devil dogs have a better body count than croes dudes and can make better use of the knockdowns your warjacks produce. And they can deal with heavies, Warjacks and Beast alike.

Other idea. Switch Croes for a max unit Steelhead for some melee and tarpit function. With Reinholdt being deleted from the list you have then 2 spare points.
    This would give several options:
-Take Rutger as jackmarshal. With his drive the crit on the mule is much more likely and if someone engages the mule he has at least his flank bonus to help.
-Take Harlan Versh, just because its Harlan Versh. No serious, that dude has some good answers to nasty enemy tricks like iron flesh
-Take the Piper just to make a tarpit unit of doom with the Steelheads. Def 16 against charges or def 15 and tough against charges is something to look at.
There are other ideas for sure, but that just some input for the start.

If i produced some strange sentences i´m sorry, as i´m not native in english.

Reinholt is a solo not a UA. so yes he can. Other than that agree with your suggestion
Me? Addicted to wargames? Never! I just like them... and I must buy figures... er... not addicted just slighty reliant on them

You really need some pathfinder in there. I mean even linear obstacles are going to cause you a lot of grief. I'd drop Wishnailer from your current list for Saxon or Rhupert. Saxon is awesome!

This list will potentially have some issues with heavy armor lists too unless you can get calamity on something. So you're best bet is to try to tie up what you can, double pop the caster with the Renegades and use the Mule to finish everything.

Also, Rutger is not very survivable at all so you need to do your best to keep him safe if you plan to use him.

Never forget that you have backstab and arc nodes!

Wouldn't dropping wyshnalyrr end up costing me more focus though? If I'm shooting things pathfinder isn't as bit especially without hunter. Increasing focus management, range of spells, and the boosting effect seem worthwhile. I mean I play cryx so I'm used to not having pathfinder on stuff. lol

If you think you can get bye without pathfinder then cool, don't worry about it.

Wishnailer gives you one free upkeep a turn meaning you're paying 2 points for Bullet Dodger to always be on Magnus. That's not worth it to me. I guess if you get calamity up and the model survives, you can upkeep it for free but that's rare. As far as the +2 range from self that Wishnailer gives, well 1) you have arc nodes so you don't really need it 2) Mobility is range control. The mini signs and portents can come in handy if you're trying to get off a calamity. I agree on that.

Depending on your Cryx army you have a ton of pathfinder in the Raiders, have ghostly or an equivalent, some form of debuff to slow your opponent, or an offensive buff to speed up your jacks or troops or enough infantry to just jam your opponent to death and still hit like a tank afterwards. You don't really get that with Mercs.

If you're going to have to run your Steelheads up for engagement, wouldn't you rather just charge if you could? They have an inch less charge than run. Pathfinder will get them through that forest or over that liner obstacle. If you run Rhupert, he'll make them a ***** to hit on the charge with Dirge or tough to get into combat from ranged attacks. Saxon is an awesome solo that can wreck shop from close or range on other solos or unit leaders that provide bonuses or to help mess with formation issues.

I have found that some of the support solos are very valuable at 35 and some work better at 50. I try to cram as much offense in as possible at 35, that's why I suggested Saxon since he's also a good combatant.

I've also found that Magnus2 works better at 50 pts for me personally especially in a Bad Seeds list.
