Any chance we might be seeing a character Warhog, gunboar or Roadhog in the near future? A character Warhog would be pretty rockin, and I was wondering if there had been any additional speculation.
I wouldnt expect them in this book. Maybe a year or two down the road, when theres plenty of warbeasts to float around. Id also expect them to be unique beasts for both pigs and gators.
well, technikely, Brine is a Farrow character warbeast, but not of a precise kinds.a character warbeast for our piggy definitly would be nice^^
I think Arkadius will get a character beast with a pork node
Hunters Grim 1-1
A little health now and again is the invalids best remedy.
I took Mercs getting a plastic jack kit for them to get a character Jack. So until we see similar I doubt either Gators or Farrow will get a character beast that all the locks can take.
Neither the Piggies nor the Gators have need of character warbeasts for the next two to three years...
We need more solos, units, warlocks, and light & heavy warbeasts a lot more.
It's the same side, but different sized coin, to the gargossal engine gambit...
Cough Snapjaw and brine cough cough
Also i'm with magnus. Missing way to much core to worry about frills
I think getting some of the more really needed stuff first would be ok, but it sure would be nice to get a character heavy and light for blindwater at some point.
Mercs also have a fairly standardized chassis to build on. The Minions warbeasts, on the other hand, are far too diverse for that. Gators have 3 heavies, and there's almost nothing in common between their models. The closest you get is the Road Hog and War Hog, and even then they differ pretty wildly. We're likely never getting a plastic beast kit for Minions, so I doubt that's going to be a prerequisite for getting character beasts.
Hooray for double-post.

Characters are "stronger" than normal beasts of their weight (normally), and only break the theme forces. So they're quite nice, but I won't want one, that's too specialized on the specific warlock. Would make more harm than use, since all need some usable beasts.
So yes if you can use it well with every warlock (like Ol'Rowdy of Cygnar) and no, if it's only good for one warlock.

I'd be all for a character beast at the expense of other releases IF it was for a wrastler... just so I could get a decent sculpt!
