Pretty much sums it up did you buy one is it assembled PAINTED! I got mine just can't link a photo on my iPad so I'll do it in a bit and if you bought two let us know so we can ask for debt relief from you lol.
Mine is on its way. It was a B-day gift so it was ordered online for me, can't complain about that right?![]()
I got mine. It feels *right*.
Picked it up at store today, put together and have it 75% painted. I must say that I really like its look! I have the right hand up a little and in a position that makes it look like the Stormwall is taking a swing!
It is top heavy so handle with care when painting as I dropped mine within the first 30 seconds of grabbing it for paint!
This is the base spray coat so far:

Got mine yesterday.. its together and I'm still enthralled by its beauty ;-).
Getting a game or 2 with it tonite, should be fun :-P.
B.
I got him assembled and started the electrodes and the base my pose is a bit different though
Very excited to play with him Tomorrow hes awesome my poor Stormstrider is going to sit for a few days!
The green will have water effects over it and I may put a tree I want him to be stomping through the Thornwood
Bought two. In the middle of chopping them up right now.
Also, to save having to start a new topic..
How's everyone planning on transporting your SWs?

Edit: can't post pics from iPhone, but it's done! And pretty sweet looking! This guy will definitely have presence on the battlefield! Also really surprised how easily it went together! Only used putty on the arms since they're so heavy fully assembled! For a mental image I went with SW opened armed kind of bracing to fire the Big Guns!

Finished assembling the second one a few minutes ago, painting will commence this weekend I reckon.
You guys with two are making me crazy. I badly want to run

at 50 points, but I'm having trouble justifying a second battle engine and colossal. Doubly so since we can be pretty sure that there will be future releases on 5" bases. Reading about people who have multiples on day one... I'm feeling peer pressured.
Do you guys think I should take up smoking again? Maybe try some drugs or drive too fast?
Was planning to give that list a whirl just for funzies, I'll play it in your name
Though at the moment I probably won't be able to find the time to squeeze that game in, ETC is coming up and I've got some playtesting to do![]()
I've got my two lovelies... haven't been able to assemble them, I'm still putting the finishing touches on my Mountain King, but I'm freaking pumped.
Cygnar: 93 Models // // Retribution of Scyrah: 115 Models// //Trollbloods: 44 Models
mine is on its way but have to wait for the british forces post office to get it to me so probably next week.
Jaq Draco, Gunmage/Pistoleer - Inn of Odd Wanderings
I have the legs and torso separate and will finish assembling it after I paint. I am looking forward to painting this amazing looking jack and smash some Khador with it. As for some concerns for transporting it I picked up the Battle Foam tray for the Stormwall. I also have a tray for my Storm Strider. Now if they made a bag that would hold the two large trays it would be nice.
I mentioned this in my article over at BoLS, but do yourselves a favor and do not build your Stormwall before painting it. You're asking for a world of annoyance if you try to paint that enormous model when it is fully-built. Remember painting Thunderhead when it was built, and how difficult that thing was to handle while painting? Well, multiply that by four.
Paint it in pieces.

Got mine. I was up until 2 in the morning trying to remove mold lines. Mine needs a lot of TLC but it should come around soon and then perhaps pictures.
I have stormwall.... how many is not important right now. I plan to do the same thing with Stormwall as I did with the Spider Striders. Custom cut a tray at home for them so I can get more than just one per tray.
Most people say that what some people say is pretty stupid.
Painted/Total points (5 points per caster per Steamroller) Cygnar 641/836
The Stormwall/Stormstrider foam is designed specifically to fit the Privateer Press BF bags. You should be able to put both together side by side.
This would be about a billion times more awesome if you painted him like Voltron
Think of the intimidation factor as you activate the interlocks before a tourney match!
Let's go! Stormwall form!
I'll post pics in a few weeks.. it's gonna take a while though, have a bunch of stuff planned for it.

One downside is that some of the plastic is different colors and it is a combo of metal and plastic. If you do not plan on painting then find a good base spray paint color = Blue and stick with that.
I had no issues at all with assembling and then painting it. To each his own![]()
Mine's assembled and got a game in with him last night (lost it; need to pay less attention to how much face the Stormwall smashes and more attention to the mission :P )
My brother got his in the mail today along with General Adept Nemo.
He isn't assembling it a while though nor his 70+pts of Cygnar (including a BE and Thunderhead) that is all unssambled (like 70% of it is Storm stuff, he slowing bought the models before Colossals). He is first painting his Legion and my Khador (both 50+pts, both with BE, and Khador army has Conquest on preorder). Great guy, he wants to do my stuff first as I'm handicapped and can't paint.![]()
All of the above.
I have mine primed and mounted for painting. I plan on building an epic base, akin to my first Storm Strider. Strider #2 is waiting for me to assemble it, with the models and parts needed for it's epic base as well.
Once I get the first Stormwall and second Strider done, I'll be getting myself Stormwall #2. It'll be awesome just playing with 5 models.
As far as transport goes; Battlefoam. I have the tray for my 'wall, and I had a custom one made to house my two Striders and a couple 'jacks a few months ago.
I was considering painting it in pieces, but it weighs less than an Extremoth, and everything is very accessible with a brush. I just mounted it on a bunch of wine corks glued together, and have a big piece of foam to rest it on whilst painting.
i got one in the possess of painting it now .
Mine might arrive today or Friday. But I won't be home till Saturday.
As to transport, I'm thinking a child's car sat should be about right.![]()
Mine is onsite and cleaned with all the assembly done that will be prior to the painting. I don't normally paint a model that is not fully assembled but given the size and the amount of work I want to do on it several parts where left off to aid in the process.

Told myself I'd hold off on a Stormwall 'till next month, a resolution that held for an impressive two-and-a-half seconds after my LGS owner called to tell me he had one in.
Absolutely gorgeous kit, well-cast and shockingly easy to put together. There was some real love and engineering put into the big guy. Painting soon!![]()
