That sounds painful with the glue. I think we have all been there at some point.

How did you go about magnetising the waist? I have thought about it but I'm just not sure how to fit it all in along with the small bits that get glued on at the hips.

I have been thinking that if you magnatize the waist and arms it could fit in regular sized foam trays.

I pick out the rivets on nearly every model I paint, and that usually means painting them black for shadow and then adding the dot of silver. The contrast looks awesome, but "soul destroying" is pretty close to how I feel when I'm staring down painting 100 rivets twice each.

The Stormwall "Jackson" is all primed and ready... spent my whole lunch hour to prime it and the lightning pods... Planning to get the metals and blues done tonight.

I had two magnets of exactly the right diameter and glued one to the pin and slid one into the hips. No clue what the diameter was mind you, they were just random magnets in my box. So the upper torso swivels slightly and the whole thing separates for easier transport.

Finally! Stormwall Jackson "Stormy" is done (well, tabletop ready)!!!

It took me 3 days to build, prime and paint...staying up late each night but it was worth it.

I can't wait to play his 1st game tomorrow,

Here's Stormy moments before being primed:

    Stormy's all painted up!

    Here's Stormy bullying the Behemoth:

I went with the Studio them paint scheme... I'd like to say the larger surface area made it easier to paint but there are still some nooks and crannies that gave me a few headaches and choice words.

I noticed that generally speaking some lists actually try to ignore your Colossal at ARM 22 with AS and try to assassinate your caster. It doesn't necessarily end well for the opponent, but at least they try.

Ignoring the big thing and just killing the caster? Ha, the Stormwall made every other army adopt Cygnar tactics.

Haha, I agree with you right there man. Except, its kinda hard to ignore a 19 point monster, that can very happily stand still and blaze away. Many people forget it has a pair of gatling handcannons....

Rangers + Temporal Barrier + standing still (if you ever get all three bonuses together) is effectively RAT 12, Warlocks especially hate that to death :X

This is just fantastic- the symbol in the base is just subdued enough that it took me a second look to see it. Nicely done!

I finished mine last month for the PP monthly challenge. It was so much fun to paint and I'm really glad I finished him so quickly.

I managed to trade some models to one of the owners of my FLGS for one. I've assembled it, but I've not gotten a chance to play it yet. Funnily enough, I have played against it, and was the first one to destroy it.

Just traded some magic cards to the warstore for store credit and ended up picking up one and building it between rounds at the SR this past weekend. Now he is off to the painter. Cant wait to see him on the tabletop along side the rest of my Swans

A bunch of the round lip series at Dragon Forge have a 120mm variant. I've used five different ones in my armies so far, and have a Goth-Tech ready for the Drop Bears.
