I hated the Blastoise cannons so I rotated him down a bit and changed the positioning of the head. Also, I bored out the main cannons as well as the muzzle brakes.
Im still working on the arm poses. I wanted to have him swinging forward with his right arm, but it looks cheesy without a closed fist. Im debating trying to close the fist or put a plastruct I beam in his hand.
Other than that, I hvae some odds and ends before I start painting. As a side, check out the Miniature Mentor video for painting Mechs.

The disappointment. Sorry to hear.
I got mine but it has a few casting marks along the main body. no biggy.
Fantastic model and looks a treat.Working on being able to field every merc teir 4 list.

Finished up mine today.
Even painting assembled, it wasn't too bad, although I admit that I mainly go for tabletop quality for my minis. Very large amount of open space around the model itself even when assembled, and I just need to try touching up the coils with some arcane blue or something similar to make them pop a bit more. Looking forward to getting it out on the table more, especially now that it's fully painted and even more intimidating.

I got one! But guess what, it was missing the large round main body piece. Can you believe it? I can understand a small bit, but really the baseball sized body? And this isn't the first time I've had issues with missing pieces, I want to pull my hair out, and obviously I buy it on Friday night, and won't hear back from PP till Monday morning.

I just finished my base colors... after 13 hours of painting. is this normal??? I am not using an air brush seeing as how I don't know how to use one, or own one. I know that would make it go a lot faster, but I am using what I can. 13 hours for base colors just seems crazy! So to any of you who have this monster painted, how long is it taking you to finish?
Planning to have it finished by the end of tomorrow. Will post pics then.

about 8 hours for me overall, but I found myself doing follow up touch ups for a couple days after.

Wow! I ordered mine on Amazon on Wednesday (as well as N3mo), and got it Saturday! I built it in the afternoon and was able to drool over it all day! Today I'm going to use it in a 50-pt game against my wife's Menoth!

I've almost got him done I have to finnish the copper and then the details and touch ups hes going to be punching a tree out of the way with the left fist just need to find one that looks good.

Got mine. Put it together in about half an hour using nothing but loctite super glue.
Bravo PP, fantastic model and kudos on the ease of assembly.
Painting it might cramp my hand to hell and back though...
