I got mine at LNL. He is all put togetherI'm already considering picking up a second one.
Dino-Czar about Kara Sloan"Apparently this gun also has the ability to shoot through time, judging by how many games Cryx players seem to have already lost because of it. "
Got mine on Monday, removed many of the extra sprue type objects and built it in about 3.5 hours. Primed it and it sure looks lovely. Now time to get some practice before a pair of tournaments this weekend. No missing parts btw, suppose I was just lucky.
I'm holding my breath to see Agmemmon's 8x Stormwalls panoramic.
(number of models may vary)
has anyone got any real play in with this beast? Mine's on order as of yesterday, it may end up assembled and in a tourney next Saturday if it arrives soon enough.
Factions own: Legion, Cryx, Circle, Minions(Pigs)
Factions owned: Khador, Menoth, Skorne, Trolls, Cygnar
I've got about 6 games in with mine. The common thread from them, and what I am seeing in the forums:
"If you're going to bring the storm wall with ********, you should make it more fun for the other guy, just skip the game, and nut punch him."
Swap ******** with Phaley and 2 Stormwalls, or Darus in Mangled Metal at 15 points, or Bonded Ehaley, or Kraye on the Charge, or ..........
I got a stormwall and I've lost 2 out of the 3 games I've fielded him in. Granted those two games were vs two of my LGS's best players...and I'm still learning to play. I made some dumb mistakes in the two losses.
First loss I was paranoid about losing the collosal, ended up losing my caster instead. Second loss I was paranoid about losing my caster..let the collosal get charged by 5 stormblades without arcane shield on him (he used sweep vs a few blades that were already engaging, so no covering fire). The blades crippled the entire right side and got my cortex.
It can definitely die, and even having just the left or right weapon systems crippled really sucks. It is not an auto win button, which I love
*edit*
not an auto win button...but still a serious game changer and scary and annoying as heck for your opponent

lots of broken pictures in this thread make me sad. =/

Cygnar: 8 casters, 56/177 points, Mercs/Minions: 1/27 points, Trollbloods: 6 'locks, 61/190 points.
Most people say that what some people say is pretty stupid.
Painted/Total points (5 points per caster per Steamroller) Cygnar 641/836
I suck at taking pictures but here is Stormasaurus Rex all done in my 50 point Darius Hardcore list.
Brought mine for League play at my FLGS tonight, and had to use pCaine as I was defending a territory he was hanging out in (we're using a modified Thornwood ruleset). Between two units of Gun Mages, Caine's Thunderstrike, and the Stormwall's new power attack, there was some freakish board control going on. Fun times!

Ohh man I really like Seige I think his feat can be stupid with Stormwall Any form of Haley and Stryker are part of my 3 pics I played with Darius and I still think he sucks sadly I want him to be awesome but still lack luster for me but he's been out a week so time will help iron out synergy issues.
And I put my Stormwall and my Stormstrider in the Stormwall Compilation in painting and don't want to over post.

Just got mine in the mail today. Crazy timing as it was a birthday present, and it arrived on my birthday. Now to find the time to get it put together!
Hello people of Caen. Look at your Warjack, now look at mine, now back to yours, now back to my mine. Sadly, it isn't mine, but if you stopped using coal and started using electricity, it could look like mine. Look down, back up, where are you? You're in Immoren! What's in your hand? I have it. It's a sword. Look again, THE SWORD IS NOW ELECTRIFIED! Anything is possible when you join Cygnar! I'm on a Storm Strider.
Mine was in the mail last tuesday, now its painted and ready to be deployed comming saturday for one of our batreps![]()
Stuff killed by cookpot creations: Adeptus Rahn, pMorghoul

I got mine as a pressie on the Thursday, assembled it Friday evening (about 1 hour with superglue alone), undercoated Saturday, painted Sunday, highlights and base Monday, total of about 4 hours work from opening the box? Base is very basic and paint scheme isn't going to win any prizes. I tried assembling him to do a victorious elbow jerk, but it looks as if he's making an obsecene gesture across the table...
Played him last night, 2 games
Stryker vs Kreoss. I tied up his heavies with Storm Lances, shot a hole through his bastions with Minuteman, Rowdy walked through for a boosted tremor, leaving pKreoss on the ground in range of Stormwall's guns. It's quite effective as a caster killer.
eNemo vs Jarl. Army bogged down in infantry, and his heavies hiding behind a wall all the time. He focussed on the Stormwall with Jarl, Mulg, and a Mauler, and killed it very convincingly. However, this left him with maxed out beasts, Jarl in the open, and 2 SS and eNemo able to walk up and zap Jarl to a greasy smear.
Initial findings: Ignore the collossal at your peril. Focus on it, it's entirely kilable, but it's easy to overcommit.

ThanksIn person the blues on the armor come out looking a bit more turquoise then the picture shows for some reason. So the armor and the coils on his back don't usually look that similar.
Not sure if I am done with the coils yet. I was considering going up to an almost straight white. A friend of mine considered a really light shade of yellow... but that worries me to try 0.0

Bad piccy, but I've finished the painting on my 'walls. Next up: pods & basing.

Damnit! You guys are making me want to get one and try playing Cygnar again...
This model not only looks awesome, I love his rules...

All factions, all models painted!
Awesome pictures!I'm looking at buying one myself really soon but I can't shake my feeling of guilt toward my gaming friend after I showed him that the Stormwall is available on Ebay...he looked scared ^^
I finally broke down and got my Stormwall... Luckily the FLGS had a 20% OFF minis today so at least I got a a discount.
I just finished assembling this bad boy and I almost forgot to put in the pistons... I had him stand next to Ol'Rowdy, an Ironclad and the Behemoth and man, he's huge.. I can't wait to get him on the table on Saturday.
Hopefully I'll have time to prime and paint him before then.
I've always gone with the armour colour myself. I think that it must be slightly soul destroying to pick out every single one individually. It's bad enough just laying down the base colours on the armour plates. Getting there slowly though.
Overall fantastic model and i think that once all the base colours are down i will enjoy painting it so much more.
I already put 36 hours into my first Stormwall, so I don't mind going back through and painting each rivet if that means it will make it look better. Just can't decide which way I think would look better. I don't think anything is wrong with not painting them.. but one of the Stormwalls over in the Stormwall compilation thread in the painting section had me thinking about it. It was the red and black one that had silver rivets. On his model it looked really good.
Maybe I will feel more adventurous on the next one :P If it looks good I will go back and fix it on this one. Or try it on a different model. Hmm speaking of which I have a half painted Thunderhead......
If it's captain spuds one that I think you are referring to I think that it's the contrast between the bright and the dark that makes it look particularly good with the rivets done silver. So I would say potentially depending on how much of a contrast you would be getting, go for it. My cygnar go yellow and purple so I think the rivets just wouldn't looks right if I painted them as well. Really depends on your colours I guess.
Mine is finally built and primed. Though I left off the storm chambers so I could paint them individually. I even magnetized the waist for easier transport. So proud.
The only problems I had were in trying to lower the barrels of the Big Guns to a more horizontal angle. They just don't seem designed for direct fire. Le sigh. That and applying glue before your allergy pill kicks in can really suck. I freakin' sneezed while applying the glue and managed to nearly drown the weapon mount in glue. Cleaned it up as best I could, but it's still so ugly I'm going to have to green stuff some form of canvas cover on to both shoulders.
