    In WM? Metal Cyclops Savages.
In any system? Old metal Gnoblar Scraplauncher. There is no pain comparable. It's simultaneously huge with dozens of parts and made of tiny thin fiddly bits with very little surface contact.

Worst thing lately was the Venator Flayer Cannon. One of the gunner's hands is molded onto the cannon and the other hand has to touch to look right, there's five pieces that need to be glued simultaneously to line them up right and they're all fiddly.

The above is my personal opinion, and in no way should be taken as representative of the overall Skorne community. Even when I claim otherwise.

No mentions of the Skorne Cataphracts yet? Really? With their 6 bitty flags of rage and hatred?

Nyss hunters. After the third trip to the shop and they broke, I simply shelved them. I can't put myself through that again or I may go postal.

They largely went right in the holes for me. Metal Titans were easy for me as well... all 6 of them.

    My biggest problem models:

Harbinger. First model I ever pinned, starting with the left forearm (with the accompanying flagpole of doom). Surprisingly, it worked.

Nyss Hunters. Terribly fiddly arms, plus the equipment that doesn't really have a specific slot or join

Malifaux- Two Sword Victoria. Flat-Surfaced Angled Wrist Join. ***?!?

GW- metal tomb kings skull catapult. 14 separate pins, per model. Own two.

I just finished my Cetrati. I had done my Arciarii about a year ago. I dont know why but I really havent had a problem with the flags. I'm pretty rough on my models in terms of transportation too.

Apparently I must be some sort of modeling genius. I've put together a full unit of Nyss Hunters, Exemplars, Exemplar Errants, four Cyclops Savages, quite a few Titans, and a variety of other models people are complaining about. None were that bad.

Models that were a little annoying:
    Harbinger
    Mortenbra
All the flags on the Cataphracts

Deathjack certainly wasn't bad. I put him together, then did it again when someone knocked over the model and stepped on it.

Deathjack and Terminus were the most annoying for me though storing cryx with spindly bits and spikes drive me crazy.

Cyclops savage for me, tried dry fit to see how it might be, fled immediately to some forums. Titan was a challenge, took some more advice, made the banner removable which was a pain but glad I did it. For my one friend so far it seems to be epic thagrosh, every time i called him he cursed it at least once.

Has anyone mentioned the Nyss Hunters yet? After doing them with alternate heads, my fingers were so crusted with putty and superglue afterwards it was a day before I could feel anything with them again.

    Everybody's mentioned the Nyss Hunters...

I feel like I've got off lightly. Hardest model for me was Typhon. I had issues with the heads. EStryker was not helpful either. Long Gunner standard bearer = a large metal flag hanging off a 2mm by 2mm elbow joint. Now with completely bionic elbow after the 3rd pinning.

So I am showing my age but the original Satyxis raiders. They were just three parts but two of those parts where tiny individual horns with cruddy contact points.

I was not a fan of putting together nyss hunters but the Steelhead halbs take the cake for me. 1 head, 1 torso, 1 pair of legs, 2 arms and a 3 point join, 2 shoulder pads. Just so many finicky contact points. also shifting stones... I can't figure out where the 3rd arm goes..

Actually, I haven't had too many problems: the Cyclops Savages were potentially aggravating, but the glue set well, and I haven't had a problem since. The biggest aggravation was forgetting which way was North with the magnets for my banners.

Which leads me to an appreciation of kitchen goods:

Baking powder -- with superglue, it can be both poor-mans' green stuff and poor-man's zip-kicker... at the same time. It's great. Drop ample superglue on one side of the bond, pre-fit, dip other side of the bond in baking powder, re-fit. Hold 5 seconds... done...

I'd love to cast up the flags themselves with a little hole to receive a cut paper clip -- the pewter sticks just seem like a bad idea.

My worst experience came from the Steelhead Halberdiers. I still have nightmares from that unit. Three point joins with arms and Halberds are a nightmare. I glued my hands to the minis and their arms to my hands so much it took weeks to get the glue off my hands. And I also used the shoulder pads to cover the huge gaps where some of their arms didn't meet their bodies.

I will never assemble another unit of them in metal.

The hardest one for me, so far, has been the Feralgeist. It definitely needs to be pinned to stay together, but the area to pin is so very thin. On the third one I did, the drill bit slipped off and punctured my finger...
