Default Can Tartarsauce Curse before charging?

Since it's not a *Action or *Attack, I would assume yes.. I'm also guessing that since he is a Bane Lord that he also benefits from his own Curse ability.

Yes to all of the above as long as his target is within curse and charge range.

Yes he can. He can even curse after he has successfully charged but before he makes his attack. This opens up some pretty intersting tactics.

Were you to be so inclined, you could also Curse and run/fail charge.
    Just sayin', it's an option.

The charge then curse is an excellent way to get your banes upfield and into combat sooner than your opponent expects.
I do this all the time if I'm unsure of the distance from Tartar to the target.

Sadly it wont be long before your opponents learn to kill BLT. Then you use that to your advantage by baiting with him

he shouldn't curse, it's bad manners.

Rolfcopters! do you know how much crap I get from playing this model? Even from experienced players. He has 13 rules which all can be accessed in one turn and absurd stats. Yes he most certainly can be dealt with but most people don't know how to be honest.

I love my Tartarsauce! I had 2 games today. The first game I won but Tartar died early on due to a lucky deviate. The second game I lost because I left pGaspy 1 damn inch too far to the right, otherwise I would've won by a huge margin the next turn. Tartar survived the 2nd game though, and almost wrecked Drago thanks to amazing rolls!

    I LOVE CRYX!

The list I ran for both games was 25pts:

    pGaspy
    Skarlock
    Deathripper
    Deathripper
Min. Banes + UA + Tartarsauce
    Min. McThralls + 1 Brute
    Warwitch Siren
    Warwitch Siren
    3 Scrap Thralls

I love this list so much! Omg so many tricks! So much shenanigans! So many activities!

What the crap deviated on him that killed an 8 box arm 17 model?! A house? And I remember one time I played against a pSevy player with full errants. He set them up so there was a little less than half an inch between their bases but they were clumped together. At the end of the simo thresher there were only two left that could be sac'd to. Yeah I made like 8 bane thralls in one swipe to a unit of ERRANTS! Errants I say! Talk about you bad placing.

Lol a house. A one-handed thrown Drago killed him. Buddy used Beast-09 to chuck Drago since he was getting pissed off that I killed all of his support units and Great Bears with some awesome Scrap Thrall positioning.

I'm still dreading facing Menoth and pSevvy. The thought of destroying all those Errants (or TFG in my opponent's case) and creating Banes makes me happy in my pants.

pSevy is a tough dude for an old man. And certainly is a tough fight in the right hands.

I had Tart survive two full turns of attacks the other day - a charge and a total of 3 CMAs. He made seven banes and then cursed the enemy caster FTW. Yay!

Its kind of sad that thresher does not hit models that are blocked by other same base size models even through there 2" in range of the thresher weapon. Sense learning this I maybe get 2-3 models in a thresher attack at most. Most players I play go for BLT like hes the next best thing sense slice bread.

Cygnar usually has the tools to deal with him before he makes an impact. They've got lots of ways to ignore Stealth with range attacks

it's funny when the sauce boss makes three tough rolls in a roll with termy and gets up next turn and threshers all over the place to wrack up a lovely haul of souls for Mr. T. fun times at Cryx High.

Sadly, that doesn't work - because of Death Toll, Tartarus removes everything he kills from play. So no souls.

But it reads "When this model destroys a living enemy model with a melee attack, after the attack is resolved you CAN add one Grunt to a friendly small-based Bane unit.." I figured "can" meant it's totally optional, that I don't have to activate death toll and thus the destroyed model won't be removed from play?

Ugh...I really should read everything before replying...but that's a bit lame.. and it doesn't make sense, fluff-wise. If he just straight kills someone but just leaves their body there instead of letting a bane enter it(or whatever the hell he does to it. O.o) why wouldn't the soul just kinda hang around for some hungry lich to swipe? grrr...
